Things to do in Nice

Go to the beach: Plage Beau Rivage or Opera Plage are great beach clubs to rent a chair and spend the day relaxing.
Walk around the picturesque Old Town: Make sure to catch the outdoor flower market on Cours Saleya.
Take a local food tour to taste authentic, traditional cuisine from Nice.
Walk along the water on Promenade des Anglais
Nice has great shopping, from high-end brands to boutiques.
Make your own perfume at the famous Molinard perfumery.
Take a day trip to the mountaintop village of Eze.
Take a day trip to Monaco and gamble at the famous casino.

JAN: This Michelin star restaurant is probably the best dinner I’ve ever had. The tasting menu was amazing!
Le Petite Maison: Great restaurant for classic French food.
Carmela: This restaurant had great Italian food. There is surprisingly a lot of Italian food in Nice since it is fairly close to the Italian border.
Le Plongeoir: Restaurant on the water with great sunset views.
Angea Les Macrons: This spot has the best macarons!
Zitto Speakeasy: A fun bar to get a drink after dinner.
Waka bar: Lively bar by the beach to get drinks.
Eze
Le Cafe du Jardin: A fabulous spot for lunch with great views.
Villefranche-sur-Mer
Le Belle Etoile: Quaint restaurant on a quiet corner in town.
Monaco
Horizon Rooftop: A fabulous restaurant with a great view of the water.
Casino Cafe de Paris: The perfect location for people-watching next to the casino.
Need to know
Use Nice as your base to see several towns along the French Riviera! If you are going in high season, you should make reservations at the restaurants you would like to go to well in advance.
