Fora’s Take
Seoul is a magical city. It is actually considered a megacity, as it has a population of over 10 million people. Seoul is known for its vibrant and colorful districts, fashion, delicious street food and K-POP. You'll be able to explore its beautiful, vast heritage and modern culture. You can wake up, have nothing planned for the day and immediately find something fun to do. Having respect for other people and their belongings is something ingrained in Korean culture, which makes the city a safe place to be, even if you are a solo traveler.

Things to do in Seoul, South Korea
If you are someone who enjoys being active when traveling, climb Seoul Tower instead of taking the cable car up. The hike can take up to an hour depending on the day, but it is worth it: you get to see the whole city as you go up.
Also be sure to take a DMZ Tour. Not only will you get to see North Korea, but you will meet new people and learn so much about Korean history.
Fashion is big in South Korea. Visit Starfield COEX Mall to get a taste. It is the largest underground mall in Asia. You will find international and national brands here, in addition to an aquarium and several delicious restaurants. This mall is also known for its huge library section.
Places to eat & drink in Seoul, South Korea
Breakfast in Seoul
Butterfinger Pancakes: You'll get the best of both worlds here. If you're a picky eater, there are a lot of western options on their menu, as well as Korean options, if you like to try something new.
Ddong Café: A unique café in Seoul. Everything here is poop-themed. The coffee mugs are toilet bowls, the pillows are poo-shaped and you can even order poo ice cream waffles. This cafe is so much fun, and their coffee is delicious.
Lunch & dinner in Seoul
7-Eleven: 7-Eleven is a whole other world in Asia, especially in South Korea. You can find anything here: fun snacks and easy meals to pick up as you go about your day.
Wangbijib Myeongdong: If you are in South Korea, you must have Korean BBQ for dinner. This restaurant is in the city of Myeongdong, and the staff here are really going to make you feel welcomed. If you're a newbie when it comes to Korean BBQ, that's okay! They cook the meat for you at the table if you're not comfortable doing so. This is a comfy but luxurious restaurant, with great food at an affordable price.
