Day 1: Arrival in Bogotá

Day 2: Exploring Bogotá's icons

Morning and afternoon:

Start the day by taking a full-day guided tour to Mount Monserrate via the Monserrate Teleferico (cable car). The views from the top of the city and surrounding mountains are breathtaking. Then continue with the walking tour through Bogota’s historical heart, La Candelaria. Explore Museo del Oro, with its stunning collection of pre-Columbian gold artifacts, and visit Museo Botero del Banco de la Republica to admire masterpieces by Fernando Botero and other international artists. Stroll through Plaza de Bolivar and Plaza Del Chorro Del Quevedo, landmarks brimming with historical significance and colonial architecture.

Late lunch:

For an authentic taste of Bogotá, have lunch at La Puerta Falsa, a small but famous spot where Anthony Bourdain once dined. Try traditional dishes like tamales or ajiaco.

Day 3: Art and culture immersion

Dinner:

Day 4: Departure

Wake up, eat breakfast at your leisure, and head to the airport to return home or head to your next destination in Colombia!

If time allows, consider a visit to the Salt Cathedral of Zipaquirá, a stunning underground church built inside a salt mine, or do some emerald shopping at one of Bogotá’s renowned emerald markets.
