Things to do in New York City
I love spending a few hours here admiring art that I actually recognize!
Nothing screams Christmas like watching The Rockettes at Radio City!
Stroll down 5th Ave to look at the store windows
Hello Saks & Bergdorfs! Your windows are gorgeous!
Rockefeller Christmas Tree
Carriage Ride in Central Park
Ice Skating at Bryant Park
Metropolitan Museum of Art
Places to eat & drink in New York City
Sarabeth’s
There are a few of these around the city, but their breakfast/brunch/lunch does not disappoint! Get the popovers. You can walk in, but I’d make a reservation if possible.
Serendipity 3
A must for lunch! Portions are generous. Reservations are recommended. And yes, you have to get the frozen hot chocolate!
The Smith
There are many locations throughout the city, but this is a solid, reliable option.
Papillion Bistro & Bar
In my opinion, this bistro wins for best decor! Why? Because you actually would want to eat and drink here. The fare is good and the staff is great!
The Campbell Apartment
I know, I know…why would you want to go to a bar in a train station, right?! Because it’s amazing! Small and intimate, dark and moody, it’s a perfect date spot. Make. A. Reservation.
Christmas Market Food Stalls
This one is a fun way to go if you want to try all the things! Lines can get long during peak hours.
Ralph’s Coffee
Yep, Ralph Lauren has a coffee shop and yep it’s worth visiting! Make sure you hit up the Upper East Side location for the beautiful windows and warm ambiance.
La Pecora Bianca
Multiple locations, but who doesn’t like beautiful decor and a delicious cacio e pepe?!
