Things to do in Anguilla

A view of a colorful beachside shack on a white sandy beach with people on sun loungers and a flag flying
  1. Stroll Mead's Bay, in my opinion, the most beautiful beach in Anguilla

  2. Grab a drink at Leon's at Malliouhana, and bring it to swim in Nim's Nook Cove. *Tip: Leon's makes the best rum punch on the island.

  3. Catch the sunset at the Four Seasons Sunset Lounge

  4. See Anguillan legend Bankie Banx perform at The Dune Preserve. *Tip: Friday nights after 9pm and Sundays starting at 12pm are the best time to see Bankie perform.

  5. Charter a catamaran and spend the day visiting the uninhabited white sand cays around Anguilla.

  6. Rent a classic British moke and drive the island in style, exploring in your own time

  7. Take a boat trip to explore Scrub Island *Tip: I can arrange a tour guide with unlimited rum punch and beer during the excursion

  8. Surrounded by 7 marine parks and blessed with great visibility, Anguilla is the perfect place to learn to scuba dive.

  9. Indulge in a couple's spa at the fabulous Arawak Spa at the Belmond Cap Juluca Hotel. *Tip: choose from an outdoor pavilion experience or indoor shared room.

Day trips

If you're looking to add more luxury to your trip, I can arrange a day trip to St. Barts via plane or boat for a day of shopping, sightseeing and fine dining.

Lunch

  1. Sunshine Shack - This great lunch spot is on Rendezvous Bay and has the best BBQ chicken and ribs I've ever had.

  2. Straw Hat - Located at the Frangipani Resort, this restaurant is ideal for any time of day, but I always find myself coming back for lunch. It's a lovely place to be during the day.

  3. Blanchard's Beach Shack - The best tacos on the island. Pair these with a cold beer on a hot day and you've got a version of heaven.

  4. Elvis Beach Bar - Known for his Rum Punch and college sports memorabilia, Elvis's is an island icon and can't miss.

  5. Da'Vida - Can't miss the Sunday Funday BBQ starting at 12pm.

Dinner - all reservations recommended

  1. Jacala - Known as the best restaurant in Anguilla. Must make reservations in advance (no website).

  2. Mangoes - Still dream about their sesame seed-crusted red snapper and fresh-caught grilled lobster (no website).

  3. Cip's by Cipriani - This restaurant at the Belmond Cap Juluca has brought in a chef from Siciliy in the last year, and it shows. The pizzas and gelatos are out of this world.

  4. Blanchards - No visit to Blanchard's is complete without a slice of their famous coconut cake at the end.

  5. Sharky's - I still dream about the cinnamon spice soup. Once you sit down, you completely forget you're sitting on the side of the road.
