Curator’s statement

Welcome to my travel guide to Jamaica, a place that's super close to my heart. I was born on this amazing island and am a proud Jamaican citizen, though I now live in the DC area. I love visiting often to spend time with family and I even got married in Montego Bay in the spring of 2024. I know Jamaica like the back of my hand and absolutely love it – the friendly vibe, the laid-back pace and the lively people. The food is incredible and the scenery, from the stunning beaches to the beautiful mountains, is just breathtaking. I'm excited to share my favorite spots with you!
