Located along the southern tip of the Baja Peninsula, Cabo appears to be a year-round destination for travelers with sunny, clear skies and warm weather throughout most of the year. But when are the best times to go to Cabo? Here's an overview.

December to February

Known for being Cabo’s peak season, this is a time when crowds flock to the gorgeous resorts and beaches of Cabo to soak up the sun. The month of December kicks off with the festive season and the warm, dry weather continues into the months of January and February. This is a terrific time to catch sight of the whales in the ocean waters. The days may be sunny, but you will want to pack a sweater for the cooler evenings during this timeframe.

March to April

Still considered high season, the spring months tend to be a popular time to travel to Cabo. During this time, you can expect to find lots of spring breakers, college students and families alike enjoying their time here. Resorts tend to be crowded at this time. The whales usually leave by the end of March, but the days are filled with warmer temperatures.

June to August

The weather continues to get warmer as the summer months arrive, bringing hot and humid temperatures. The resorts tend to quiet down a bit after the spring breakers have left, and this is a great time to enjoy a slower pace in Cabo.

September

The month of September tends to bring the most rain of the year. It can be rather hot and humid with quick rainstorms, and there is the chance of hurricanes during this time. You can find the best deals at this time, but weather can be quite unpredictable.

May, October & November

These are great shoulder-season months to travel to Cabo. In May, the crowds have started to dissipate from the spring break season and the weather is starting to get a bit warmer, though not nearly as hot and humid as in the summer months. In October, the rains are starting to lift and the weather is still warm. November is a wonderful time to travel before the crowds start to arrive over the festive season.
