This popular restaurant offers stunning views of the Teton Range and a delicious menu of American and Italian cuisine. With its casual atmosphere and outdoor seating options, Dornan's is a great place to enjoy a meal with friends and family while taking in the natural beauty of the area. Another great option for lunch is Mural Room at the Jackson Lake Lodge with its beautiful view over the Tetons and lake.
Day 3: ATV tour adventures
Today is all about adventure. Jackson Hole Adventure Rentals gets the shout-out here as they do the best guided tours in the area. Take the Teton ATV Overlook tour, giving you the best views of the Tetons, as well as beautiful ATV trails that wind through forested valleys and along spectacular open ridges. Or opt for the side-by-side tour in Caribou Targhee National Forest. Visit the remnants of Caribou City, a registered Idaho Ghost town, or explore Jensen Creek trail to Elk Mountain. This tour travels back-country open-access forest service roads through the Caribou Mountain Range, crossing into Idaho.
Day 4: Yellowstone National Park
Imagine witnessing the breathtaking sunrise over the Tetons as you enter Yellowstone's vast wilderness. From Jackson Hole, you approach through the South Entrance. Your first stop should be Old Faithful Geyser, which erupts impressively between 100 and 185 feet every 60–90 minutes. Check the Geyser Activity for precise timing. Explore the visitor center and nearby geysers while you wait. Afterward, enjoy lunch at the Old Faithful Lodge.
Next, head to Grand Prismatic Spring, one of Yellowstone's most iconic features. This vibrant hot spring is the largest in the United States and is located in the Midway Geyser Basin. Next are two great additional drives. Firehole Lake Drive offers a scenic journey through the Upper Geyser Basin. As you drive along this five-mile byway, you'll be treated to stunning views of the Firehole River Valley, geothermal features and wildlife. Explore the area's geysers, hot springs and mud pots, and enjoy hiking trails that offer opportunities to experience the natural beauty of the park. Take a scenic detour on Firehole Canyon Drive, a seven-mile route offering stunning views of the canyon walls, Firehole River and geothermal features. Next up is Canyon Village, where you can grab a bite to eat at the Canyon Lodge Dining Room or the General Store. From there, head to the Grand Canyon of the Yellowstone River, a breathtaking natural wonder. Hike along the rim for panoramic views, descend to the canyon floor for a closer look or simply enjoy wildlife watching from scenic viewpoints. With its diverse hiking trails and stunning scenery, the Grand Canyon is a must-see destination.
Lastly, Lake Yellowstone offers breathtaking views, recreational activities and wildlife encounters for anyone exploring the park. Enjoy boating, fishing, hiking or camping along its shores. Keep an eye out for wildlife, such as elk and bison, and soak up the stunning scenery. With its crystal-clear waters and peaceful atmosphere, Lake Yellowstone is a perfect place to relax and enjoy the outdoors. Before sunset, grab some snacks at Grant Village for your 1.5-hour drive back to Jackson Hole.

Teton Village offers a vibrant mix of outdoor activities, shopping, dining and cultural events. Located at the base of the Teton Range, this charming community provides easy access to hiking, biking, skiing and snowboarding. Explore the shops and boutiques, enjoy delicious meals at local restaurants like Mangy Moose and take a ride up the gondola for some of the most incredible views around.
Teton Village also offers a variety of mountain biking trails for riders of all levels, from beginner to expert. The surrounding mountains provide stunning scenery and challenging terrain, making it a popular destination for mountain bikers, paragliders, rock climbers and hikers.
