Phuket is one of Thailand’s top travel destinations, known for its beautiful beaches, nightlife and cultural attractions. Here are some additional tips and recommendations for travelers:

Best time to visit: November to April (dry season) offers the best weather, while May to October (rainy season) has fewer crowds but rougher seas.

Local currency: Thai Baht (THB). Credit cards are widely accepted, but cash is useful for markets, street food and transportation.

Getting around: Rent a scooter (if experienced), use Grab (ride-hailing app) or hire a private driver for convenience.

Power plugs: Thailand uses Type A, B, C and O plugs with 220V voltage. Bring an adapter if needed.

Respect Local Culture: Cover shoulders and knees when visiting temples, and remove shoes before entering.
