Relax in the hot springs at Tabacón or visit other hot springs resorts like Baldi or EcoTermales.
Pro Tip: A lot of the resorts offer day passes to the hot springs, however it is more convenient to stay at a resort that includes the hot springs such as Tabacón Thermal Resort & Spa.

3. La Fortuna Waterfall
A short hike through the jungle leads to this stunning 200-foot waterfall where you can swim in the cool waters.

4. Adventure Activities
Zip-lining, white-water rafting, and canyoning. Explore Arenal Hanging Bridges for a unique view of the rainforest canopy.
Pro Tip: There are guided tours for the hanging bridges, however our family enjoyed the slower pace of exploring this park on our own. A tour is not required, but you do need to book tickets ahead of time to enter the park. You can reserve them here.

5. Lake Arenal
