Curator’s statement
Denver was the perfect escape from NYC's hustle, offering the right mix of laid-back city vibes and outdoor adventure. We caught two Rockies games, explored the local food scene and enjoyed relaxing hikes, making Denver a place that gave us both adventure and downtime. The city’s balance of nature and culture makes it the ideal spot to recharge while still working remotely.

Things to do in Denver
Rockies Game at Coors Field: Whether you’re a baseball fan or not, definitely worth catching a game at this stadium, boasts great views & energy!
Union Station: A very pretty place for dining, getting some work done or people-watching.
Cheesman Park: A great place for a walk (preferably with a donut & coffee in hand), a picnic or just being being in nature within the city
Flatiron Vista Trailhead: Hike with breathtaking views of Boulder’s flatirons. Ideal for a morning adventure.
Red Rocks Ampitheatre & Trading Post Trail: The iconic concert venue & a great place for scenic hikes. You’ll see people working out, practicing yoga, & more! Tip: if it’s the day of an event, the theater closes early for prep & you may end up taking another hike to your car (since the shortcut will be closed)
Pearl Street Mall (in Boulder): Lots of local shops, perfect for grabbing some souvenirs or something for yourself! Boulder bookstore, Colorado’s largest independent bookstore located here. Perfect for a Boulder stroll.
Rocky Mountain Arsenal National Wildlife Refuge: Take the 11-mile wildlife drive where you can see bison, deer and so many adorable prairie dogs!
River North Arts District (RiNo): A vibrant neighborhood known for its street art, galleries, breweries and creative energy. Perfect for exploring Denver’s artsy side.

Food
Brunch at Snooze an AM eatery: The perfect brunch place, featuring various kinds of eggs Benedict (crab cake & pork belly being our favorite) & pancake flights (because with so many to choose from, the only answer is to get a bunch).
Hopdoddy: Their burgers never disappoint. Whenever I travel somewhere west that has a Hopdoddy, it’s a must. My personal favorite is the Magic Shroom Burger.
Voodoo Doughnut: A donut flavor for everyone!
Linger: A restaurant/bar that used to be a mortuary — so creepy cool! Definitely recommend sitting on the rooftop if the weather is nice. Solid happy hour available 4 – 6 pm.
Little Man Ice Cream Co.: Fresh, homemade ice cream served from their iconic 28-foot-tall milk can (at 16th Street location).
Denver Central Market: Various food vendors to try. A few that are noteworthy: Lunch Boxx - retro-style deli serving up some great sandwiches & sides. Local Butcher, Izzio Bakery, Crema Coffee.
Redeemer Pizza: Grab a slice after hitting up the bars in RiNo.
The Sink in Boulder: I don’t know how to effectively describe this place. There’s writing & drawings all over the walls. Ceilings are a little low, but the food is delicious! We had so many different things on the menu that the manager even comped us with the giant cookie for dessert!
Coffee & Booze:
Hello Darling: Such a pretty coffee shop that doubles as a cocktail bar.
Ratio Beerworks: Laid-back brewery with a great selection of craft beers and a fun, casual vibe.
Thump Coffee: A local gem serving up quality coffee in a cozy setting. Ideal for your daily caffeine fix.
Finn’s Manor: Eclectic bar with an outdoor space, rotating food trucks and creative cocktails.
Federales: A lively spot known for its tequila, tacos and signature ice shots. Great for a fun night out!
Wynkoop Brewing Company: Denver’s oldest craft brewery, offering solid brews and a cool, historic atmosphere. Buffalo wings are tasty with a solid kick!
