Day 1: Time to relax with a beach day & water activities

Rocks On Seashore

It's time for some fun in the sun! Spend the morning at one of Maui's beautiful beaches, like Ka'anapali or Wailea. Rent some snorkeling gear or try your hand at paddle-boarding or surfing. If you prefer a more relaxing day, simply lounge on the soft sands and soak up the Hawaiian sunshine.

For lunch, grab some delicious poke or a plate lunch from a beachside food truck. Afterward, indulge in a refreshing shaved ice treat to cool off.

In the afternoon, take a leisurely stroll through the historic town of Lahaina, known for its charming shops and art galleries. Don't miss the opportunity to watch the traditional hula dance performances or catch a stunning sunset by the shore.

Day 2: Haleakala National Park sunrise hike

Rise early today to witness the magical sunrise at Haleakala National Park. Remember to dress warmly, as it can get quite chilly at the summit. The sunrise from the crater is an otherworldly experience and the panoramic views will leave you speechless.

After the sunrise, embark on the Haleakala Summit Trail hike to explore the unique landscape of the volcanic crater. The silversword plants and vast crater views will make this hike truly memorable. Pack a picnic lunch to enjoy at one of the scenic spots within the park.

In the afternoon, head back to your accommodation for some relaxation or explore nearby attractions. For dinner, treat yourself to a fine dining experience at a restaurant with a view of the ocean or the mountains.

Day 3: The Road to Hana

Start your Maui escapade by hitting the famous Road to Hana, known for its breathtaking views and lush landscapes. Fuel up with a delicious breakfast at a local cafe in Paia before embarking on the journey. Make sure to pack some snacks, water and a camera to capture the stunning scenery.

As you venture along the winding road, be sure to make stops at must-see places like Twin Falls, the Garden of Eden Arboretum, and the colorful Pua'a Ka'a State Park. Take time to admire the magnificent waterfalls and swim in the refreshing natural pools.

For lunch, enjoy some authentic Hawaiian food from one of the roadside stands. On your way back, stop by the black sand beach at Wai'anapanapa State Park and take a leisurely stroll along its shores. End the day with a delicious dinner at a local restaurant in Paia, savoring some fresh seafood.

Book a boat tour that includes snorkeling gear, and get ready to witness an array of colorful marine life. Keep an eye out for sea turtles, tropical fish, and maybe even some playful dolphins!

After a morning of snorkeling, the boat will take you to a secluded spot for a delicious lunch on board. Enjoy the scenic views of the coastline as you make your way back to the harbor.

For a laid-back evening, explore the shops and art galleries in Lahaina or Kihei, and treat yourself to a tasty dinner at a local restaurant, perhaps trying some Hawaiian fusion cuisine.

Day 5: Explore Iao Valley & Upcountry

Start the day with a visit to the picturesque Iao Valley State Park. Take a short hike to the iconic Iao Needle and enjoy the lush greenery surrounding you. This valley is rich in history and cultural significance, so take some time to learn about its past at the visitor center.

Afterward, drive up to Maui's Upcountry, where you'll find beautiful landscapes and charming small towns. Stop by the Surfing Goat Dairy and sample some delicious goat cheese. Continue to the Ali'i Kula Lavender Farm for a relaxing stroll through the fragrant lavender fields.

For dinner, treat yourself to some farm-to-table cuisine at a cozy restaurant in the Upcountry.

Day 6: Farewell Maui!
