Fora’s Take

La Rochelle is full of breathtaking and natural views, providing a sense of peace. ‘Île-de-Ré makes a great detour from La Rochelle, connecting the small island to the mainland through a long bridge. Even though the wait can be long, especially during the summer season, you’ll soon be rewarded with beautiful beaches and fantastic food.
