Curator’s statement

I celebrated my second wedding anniversary here after a very fun — and tiring — three days in Mykonos. It was the perfect place to decompress, relax and enjoy with my husband.

Things to do in Paros, Greece

Blue water up to steep cliffs of white rock.
  • Boat day: We did a private full-day with Paros Voyages and it was the highlight of our trip. We spent the majority of the day exploring Anti Paros and stopping at local swimming holes. The water was unbelievable!

  • Rent an ATV: This was arranged through our hotel. They dropped off and picked up the ATV at our hotel and we spent the day riding around the island and exploring different beaches.

  • Visit a local winery or brewery: The 56 Isles Microbrewery is a must.

  • Hike: Explore the island on foot.

  • Walk around Naousa town to shop local Greek artisans and have lunch on the water.

  • Take the ferry over to Anti Paros to explore the island and get lunch at Captain Pipinos or Soros Beach Club.

  • Take a private transfer or the ferry over to Anti Paros. The island has incredible swimming spots and views of Despotiko — an unsettled island with a rich history.

Places to eat & drink in Paros, Greece

A rocky ocean shore with white buildings along the coastline.
  • Sigi Ikthios: One of our favorite meals! You must get the seafood risotto — an off-menu item.

  • SiParos: Amazing seafood restaurant outside of Naousa for sunset.

  • Stilvi: Delicious high-end restaurant that turns into a clubby vibe later in the night .

  • Yemeni: Local wine taverna in the center of Naousa.

  • Kargas: Can't-miss gyros.

  • Taverna Glafkos: Another great local taverna in Naousa. They do not take reservations, so make sure to get there early to put your name in.

  • Blue Oyster: About 10 minutes out from Naousa, amazing seafood restaurant for oysters and the fresh catch of the day.

  • S. Creamy: The best gelato in town!
