Curator’s statement
I used to think of Naples as a place where the 50+ crowd go to get away from the midwest winters. While true, it is actually a destination that can be enjoyed by any age. And maybe they were on to something, because Naples is home to a beautiful coastline, relaxation, great food and some of the most amazing sunsets I have ever seen. Read on for the best-of-the-best to make your next trip to the Gulf Coast one you’ll never forget.

Places to eat & drink in Naples, FL
Campiello (downtown Naples) - You are 100% here for the atmosphere and cocktails. Sit back on the patio and enjoy the essence of downtown Naples. The staff are incredibly welcoming and make killer drinks.
Bar Tulia (downtown Naples and Mercato) - Probably some of the best pizza you’ll eat in Naples. They have two locations so easy access no matter where you’re staying. Another great set of bartenders here…see a trend?
Vergina (downtown Naples) - Middle school me still giggles at the name, but don’t let that deter you. Vergina has some great authentic Italian dishes and has some great late night dancing. With dancing comes drinks, so you know the bar is workin’ it.
Blue Martini Bar (Mercato) - Let’s start by saying their happy hour runs until 8 p.m., that’s a happy night if you ask me! Super fun to go when there is live music, but it can definitely get a little rowdy if you catch my drift.
Aqua Bar - Another prime happy hour spot with fantastic seafood. You can go any day of the week and expect a dinner rush. Despite that, the staff is accommodating and will try to fit you in as best they can. You may even meet the owner as he likes to check-in table to table.
The 239 Naples - So not only does this place do happy hour, but they also do a fab brunch. They have a great little outdoor patio and they have tons of Gluten free and vegan options.
Mediterrano - An absolute gem that can be a little tricky to find, Mediterrano serves, you guessed it, Mediterranean food. And it is to die for. Great for a date night and food that makes you feel like you’re somewhere on the Aegean.
The Bevy - An interesting set up, when you walk in you are almost immediately at the big square bar, but then they have cute little patios to either side with a retractable roof and tons of seating. Make sure to get a rez because this place will be packed on the weekends. If you are feeling adventurous, get the octopus.
