Things to do in Tulum, Mexico

Beach club with beach view and palm trees

Spending a day on the beach alone or even going to one of the many day beach clubs in Tulum is a great way to spend a day. But you can also walk along the road or beach to visit various restaurants, bars and unique boutique shops. You won't find many typical "tourist" shops, but smaller boutique with unique clothing and home décor. Most of the restaurants, bars and shops truly capture the spirit of Tulum.

Places to eat & drink in Tulum, Mexico

Bar on the beach with wooden swings

Agave — Sit along the beach, watching the waves as you enjoy fresh margaritas and a delightful culinary experience that embraces the nature around it. Highly recommend the fish tacos, ceviche and spicy hibiscus margaritas.

Ziggy's Beach Club — Enjoy a day on a sunbed under a palm tree. Ziggy's is a popular spot for many and is open from 9am until sunset. There are tons of cocktails, margaritas and local beers available. There is no entry fee for Ziggy's Beach Club, however, you may have a minimum consumption to use the facilities.

Kapok Restaurant - This is part of the Ahau Collection Resort in Tulum, however, anyone is welcome to eat and drink at the restaurant.

*You will also find Raw Love Cafe in this area — one of Tulum's vegan cafes with organic and local juices.

Bagatelle — Super sexy French mediterranean restaurant that really embraces the vibe of Tulum.

Ilios — Capturing the outside essence of Tulum in this indoor/outdoor Greek restaurant.

Taboo Beach Club — Set directly on the beach, this beach club is super chic and will have you dancing your beach day and night away.
