Well jetsetters, you're in for a tasty treat. This best kept Caribbean secret is ideal for romance and adventure as she is mountainous, covered with lush tropical rainforests and is rife with waterfalls and natural hot springs. Now combine all of this native beauty with an award-winning boutique resort (is there a better combination of four words?) and you've got the epitome of barefoot luxury. Sound right up your alley. Where to stay

Day 1: Get to Dominica

A sunrise behind the palm trees in the Caribbean. There are also pink clouds in the sky and reflective water in the forefront.

You'll likely fly through Puerto Rico to get to Dominica, arriving at Douglas-Charles Airport. Once you get there, you'll be greeted by your pre-arranged private transportation to take you to the stunning Secret Bay.

Enjoy the warm and inviting welcome of the resort staff, dedicated whole-heartedly to guest experience and well-being. So much so, you will have received a pre-arrival questionnaire to indicate your dining, beverage, experience and wellness preferences that your personal concierge will use to tailor your five-star stay.

Get escorted to your incredible Zabuco Villa, where your personal concierge will be waiting to receive you, give you a tour of your accommodations, amenities and pre-stocked kitchen, review the dinner menu - which you can enjoy at the restaurant or in the comfort of your own villa, as is true for all meals - and get your personal iPhone to be used for the duration of your stay! This way, you can connect to the Sonos speakers and communicate directly with your concierge, 24/7.

Other features of the Zabuco Villa include:

Indoor and outdoor ceiling fans, state of the art appliances and electronics (think wine refrigerators, espresso machines and smart televisions with every streaming service you could want), fresh filtered water, air-conditioning, a private outdoor shower, a heated personal plunge pool... the fabulous list goes on and on.

Savor your fresh seafood and farm-to-table dinner in the villa and let the symphonic jungle and waves lull you to sleep in your comfortable bed adorned with silky sheets!

Day 2: Wake Up on Island Time

A silhouette of two palm trees in front of an orange and pink sunset.

Wake up on island time, refreshed and ready to indulge in the idyllic views. Your personal concierge will come to your villa (at your convenience) to serve your made-to-order breakfast on the porch. On days you want a little more privacy, you can opt for the bountiful basket of fresh fruits, homemade breads and granolas. They pair awfully well with the fresh-squeezed juice, homemade yogurt and hummus pre-stocked in your refrigerator - all replenished daily and at your request.

Head out for a guided sea cave tour to see octopus, lobsters, sea urchins, clams and other local marine life. You'll either be fascinated or hungry. Or both!

Enjoy more fresh seafood at the restaurant and head back to the villa* for after dinner cocktails and catch up on True Detective (or your show of choice!).

Note: Every time you come back to your villa, a delicious, homemade treat will be waiting for you. Think mini homemade chocolate cakes (swoon). Not to mention, all of their products are natural and locally grown on the island. You'll definitely want to bring the creamy body lotion home with you... that is, unless you use it all up while you're there!

Day 3: Go Fishing

A birds eye view of two red and yellow kayaks on the shore of a tropical island.

Wake up for an early morning to go spearfishing for lionfish. To mix things up, grab a pole so you can catch barracuda and mahi too!

Come back to the pool bar for a rum punch or three. If you're doing things right, the bartender will have your drink ready when you stroll up. Now that's service.

Before drinking the day away (not that there's anything wrong with that) kayak to over to secret beach to enjoy some salty seclusion. Beach picnic anyone? Packed lunch and beverages, compliments of your personal concierge.

Have dinner in the villa while listening to some sweet island tunes (hey, when in Rome).

Day 4: Kick Back & Relax

A view of palm trees on a beach with a view of the ocean and waves rolling in.

Kick back with a relaxing day on the no-plan, plan! Cozy up on the outdoor hammock after a morning dip in the plunge pool with a fresh-squeezed peach Bellini (send pics to all of your friends and make them jealous).

Next up, listen to the sound of the ocean while you get your custom couples massage; complimentary when working with JET, of course!

Have a nice and fresh seafood salad for lunch and sit back on the decks lounge chairs for a sunny little siesta.

Get ready (and by ready, I mean put on your flip-flops) and head out for a private sunset cruise, primed with a pre-packed cooler of your favorite beverages! Marvel at the beautiful views and topographically diverse scenery.

Day 5: Head Out for a Hike

An overhead view of a platter of food with eggs, fruit, coffee and three beverages. There is a green plant and sand next to the platter.

Start the day with a protein-packed, made-to-order omelet and get ready for your day of hiking to hidden waterfalls! How often can you say the journey is just as spectacular as the destination?

Come back, freshen up in your inviting outdoor shower and prepare your tastebuds for a truly lovely experience courtesy of your in-villa chefs tasting menu and reserved wines.

Lastly, enjoy a free evening to shake off the well-earned food coma with post-dinner cocktails, homemade coconut spice cake and Netflix.

Day 6: Snorkeling Time

A person swimming underwater near a coral reef.

Early morning for a little snorkeling! You'll see stunning reefs and colorful schools of fish in very warm, clear water.

Time for your final excursion (you saved the best for last): Whale watching! While the peak season for spotting these amazing creatures is November through March, Dominica's unique ecosystem provides the perfect environment for whales year-round. In fact, tour operators boast a 90% success rate for seeing whales! As an added bonus, you'll probably also see dolphins. (Even though I'm flirting with forty, I turn into a six-year-old every time I see a dolphin).

Conclude your perfect day with a final romantic dinner set-up on the beach. Could there be a better way to wrap up your tropical getaway?

Day 7: Say Goodbye to Dominica

Two lawn chairs beneath a straw umbrella on a beach.

Enjoy your final breakfast while soaking in your last morning at the incredible villa that has become your paradisiacal home over the last week.

Wish farewell to the impeccable staff, head to the airport in your pre-arranged private transportation, daydream about your love affair with Dominica and plan your debrief with Jenna!
