Curator’s statement
Whether you're here for a week or just a couple days, Savannah, Georgia, is a perfect little getaway. I just visited Savannah this past summer and found the city to be very cute. But, I would advise against going in the summer months as it is very humid (unless you don't mind!). The historic park squares are beautiful and wandering around the historic district will always be a special memory for me.

Things to do in Savannah
Walk through the historic squares - Savannah's 22 squares are located across a one-square-mile area of downtown. They are all unique and provide historic value and beauty.
The Paris Market - such a cute shop, with a range of antiques, housewares, gifts & jewelry. While you’re here, grab a coffee or drink from the cafe!
Forsyth Park - dating back to the 1800s the park occupies 30 acres in Savannah’s Historic District. The iconic fountain in the center of the park is a perfect place for a photo.
SCAD Story - one of my favorite things that I did when I visited! See the Savannah College of Art and Design production of an immersive 4D experience that tells a tale of the college.
River Street - you can check out the touristy street filled with restaurants, shops and bars along the Waterfront.
Old Town Trolley Tours - did you know Savannah is known to be one of America’s “most haunted” cities? You can take a ghost trolley tour!
Plant Riverside Entertainment District - an old power plant now filled with restaurants, bars and live entertainment.
Broughton Street- some of the best boutique shopping in Savannah, located in the historic district.
Places to eat & drink in Savannah
Dine and Drink:
Bar Julian - for drinks or bites, come to Savannah's tallest rooftop restaurant. See the city from above at the Thompson Savannah.
The Public Kitchen & Bar - I had a great lunch here and it serves elevated casual fresh contemporary American fare.
Myrtle & Rose Rooftop Bar - This romantic rooftop bar will provide guests with breathtaking views of both Savannah’s majestic river and charming historic district.
The Grey Savannah - Occupying a 1938 art deco Greyhound Bus Terminal, the Grey serves up Port City Southern food.
Olde Pink House - Inventive Southern cuisine served in an elegant mansion from 1771.
Snack Time:
Chocolat by Adam Turoni - Artisan chocolate handcrafted in Savannah. Super cute, and very creative. Almost too pretty to eat. But, I did and it was quite tasty. One of my favorite chocolate stores ever!
Savannah Candy Kitchen - The candy chocolate "Turtles" are the must try! Such a delicious sweet treat.
Gallery Espresso - On a beautiful street, it is Savannah's oldest coffee shop. Plenty of seating inside for a cozy feeling.
