Things to do in Vail, Colorado
Ski / Snowboard: Hit the slopes, of course! Vail has 275 trails, ranging from beginner to expert. Be sure to secure your Epic Pass or lift ticket in advance; not only for the best deals but because certain holidays get booked up.
Walk around Vail and Lionshead Villages: The quaint town of Vail is split into two villages: Vail Village and Lionshead Village. Both are located at the base of the mountain and are walkable, but there is also a free shuttle bus that runs through town. There are tons of shops and cute areas to explore.
Snowmobiling: Looking for something a little different to do besides skiing? We highly recommend Nova Guides for an epic tour of the top of The Rockies.
Après Ski: After a great day on the mountain, head to one of the many bars in town for live music and a cold beer. Some of my favorite spots are mentioned below.
Kid-friendly Activities: Headed to Vail with little ones? There is ice skating, bowling at Bol and many parks around town. Be sure to also hit the massive candy store, Fuzziwigs, in the center of Vail Village.
