Things to do in Nashville

Two people looking at the Nashville country music hall of fame.

Honky Tonk Party Bus: This was probably the highlight of our trip. We were in an open-air bus and were able to blast our favorite tunes while being chauffeured down Broadway, drinking and dancing to our heart's content.

Country Music Hall of Fame: For any country music fans, this is a must-see! There is so much history to learn, and it is full of artifacts from all eras of country music.

The Parthenon: A full-size replica of the one built in Greece, the Parthenon is something cool and different to see in the middle of the U.S.

Enjoy Live Music on Broadway: See my list below for all the bars I recommend on Broadway, but you really can't go wrong. Follow your ears to whichever sounds best to you and pop in for a song or a drink!

Moonshine Tasting: Moonshine is definitely a unique drink if you've never tried it before. This tasting and tour at Ole Smokey Distillery allows you to learn a bit about the process in addition to tasting the strong stuff!

Pedal Tavern: I didn't personally travel on one of these during any of the bachelorette trips I've been on (so far), but these pedal bikes passed us a lot and it always looked like a blast! They also seemed to cover a good bit of ground so you get to see sights of the city.

Places to eat & drink in Nashville

Food:

  • Hattie B's: There are Hattie B's all over Nashville, including a location on Broadway. They have delicious hot chicken sandwiches, but be prepared to wait. The line was at least 40 minutes the last time I went.

  • Sun Diner: Sun Diner was a great casual breakfast dining experience, perfect to cure your hangover and get a taste of Southern biscuits.

  • Hampton Social: This is a great spot to get bottomless brunch with the girls during the Bachelorette. The prices were pretty reasonable, and there were breakfast options for everyone in our party.

  • Acme Feed and Seed: Acme Feed and Seed is a restaurant and bar near the end of the Broadway strip. Like many bars on Broadway, there is live music and a rooftop; however, the food was also very good. There was a larger space for dancing and getting close to the band than I saw at a lot of the other bars, which was enjoyable.

Bars:

  • Luke Bryan's: This bar has multiple floors of stages, bars and bands. The top floor had the most party-like vibe while the ground floor was a bit more mellow. Our group had a great time here and stayed for the majority of one of our nights.

  • Whiskey Row: Dierks Bentley's bar was one of my favorites during our time in Nashville. I thought the bands and bar service were consistently splendid.

  • Kid Rock's Honky Tonk: Kid Rock's has one of the largest stages on a ground floor of the honky-tonk, meaning as soon as you walk in your immediately in the middle of the party!

  • Miranda Lambert's Casa Rosa: Casa Rosa is essential for any bachelorette party. It's filled with feminine decor, a major contrast to most of the more masculine bars on Broadway. They had a great band, and drinks were easy to get at the bar.
