Things to do in London
Visit the Victoria and Albert Museum and check out their African Fashion Exhibit.
Window Shopping at Harrods - Definitely a must-see and your go-to for purchasing luxury bags (make sure to put your walking shoes on).
Visit the London Eye - The best way to see the city at Bird's Eye view.
Buckingham Palace - The royal grounds are especially beautiful in the summertime.
Take a picture with one of the red telephone booths - Did you really go to London if you didn't take this picture?
See a show at the Theatre - We saw Tina Turner and it was a fantastic production.
Go out to the Clubs and Lounges - For afro beats try Cococure! DUO and XOYO were also excellent options and even opened on a Monday!
Watch a movie at the Everyman Cinema - You can rent out smaller spaces for an intimate gathering with friends. The couches are so comfy and waiters will come in to ask you what you'd like to eat or drink.
Places to eat & drink in London
The Grounded - Amazing breakfast spot with probably one of the best burgers I have ever had.
Hichki - Asian Fusion Restaurant (Please try the garlic naan and chicken tikka masala).
Balthazar - French Restaurant with the best French onion soup ever!
Vingt-Quatre (VQ) - The classiest 24-hour restaurant I've ever been to. Great for after-the-club outings.
Mama's Shelter - Aesthetically pleasing restaurant with excellent drinks and food (try the fish and chips).
Sushi Samba - Make sure to make reservations ahead! The elevator to the 30th floor is a show in itself. The glass doors allow you to see all London's skyline offers. The restaurant also carries its own ambiance and the food and drinks were fantastic.
Social Eating House - Great food and ambiance.
El Pastor - Great Mexican food, a must-stop if you're visiting Borough Market.
