Things to do in Cayman Islands

A sign saying Welcome to Hell on a yellow and orange painted wall.

Our favorite recommendations include:

  • Stingrays — A visit to see the stingrays is a must-do and I recommend Rayz Dayz

  • Sunset cruise — A gorgeous way to end the afternoon is with a sunset sail with Red Sail on a catamaran

  • Rent a car — Take a day trip and drive to Hell, visit the turtle center and then up to Rum Point. A great place to eat along the way is Kaibo. This a more relaxed/less touristy side of the island.

  • Botanical Park — A visit to see the Blue Iguanas shares how the program started in 1990 with only 30 dedicated Blue Iguanas and is now home to about 100 Blue Iguanas.

Places to eat & drink in Cayman Islands

Sliced cheese pizza arranged on a cutting board amid cherry tomatoes and sprigs of rosemary.

Our favorite places to eat:

  • Tillie's - dip your toes in the sand and relax and enjoy!

  • Camana Bay- first place you should visit. So many choices and things to do.

  • Brooklyn Pizza & Pasta, Loco Mexican, Mizu/waterfront outdoor patio with teppanyaki

  • Macabuca- ocean-front dining

  • Bacaro- great restaurant and setting

  • Morgan's (next door to Bacaro) - More casual

  • Nova - lunch spot

  • Rum Point - nice casual lunch spot with lounge chairs. Mudslide drink is a must

  • Coccoloba Beach at Kimpton Seafire - on the beach, great food, great views.
