Things to do in Hawaii

Oahu:

  • Four Seasons Oahu at Ko Olina

  • All of the Four Seasons properties across the Hawaiian islands excel at providing an idyllic destination for families seeking both relaxation and adventure. On the island of Oahu, the Four Seasons kids club offers a range of activities inspired by the natural beauty and culture of the island. From learning how to hula and make traditional leis to exploring Hawaiian marine life through interactive touch pools, the club provides a deep dive into local traditions and nature.

  • What sets it apart: The focus on cultural enrichment. Children learn Hawaiian language, crafts and traditions through hands-on activities. Additionally, the resort's sprawling beach and multiple pools allow kids to explore water sports like stand-up paddleboarding or surfing with professional instructors, while parents enjoy spa treatments or fine dining at the resort's acclaimed restaurants. Check out the keiki glamping or night-time programming which allows for parents to have a date night out.

Big Island:

  • Mauna Lani, An Auberge Resort

  • Auberge properties are known to be super welcoming to kids, they even often run a kids eat free promo! Their complimentary kids club is open Tuesdays-Saturdays for kids ages 5 through 12. Advanced reservations are required as space is limited. The Holoholo kids club unearths the simple pleasures of the great outdoors through tidepools, fishing, gardening and exploring the Hawaiian arts and culture. The endless amount of activities here really engage your children in the world around them! There’s no nighttime coverage here, but they often host movie nights for the whole family to enjoy.

  • Four Seasons Hualalai

  • Another Four Seasons property nestled on the Big Island's sun-drenched Kona coast, this resort strikes the perfect balance between indulgent luxury for parents and exciting, enriching experiences for kids. The club is open daily for children aged 5 to 12, offering a range of experiences from creative arts and crafts to outdoor adventures. Whether it’s learning about Hawaiian marine life or embarking on a scavenger hunt through the resort’s lush grounds, the program gives kids the chance to explore the island’s unique environment while making new friends. The Kids for All Seasons program across Four Seasons properties means that they think like a parent and the staff goes above and beyond to cater to the needs of young guests. From arranging special activities to providing thoughtful touches like children’s bathrobes, kid-friendly toiletries and a range of toys to keep little ones entertained.

  • Kona Village Rosewood Resort

  • The Rosewood Explorers Keiki club invites children 5-11 to explore and learn about the island around them. From making coconut postcards to fishing in their ponds, the keiki here explore the great outdoors while safely nestled close to home. The Kona Village property offers great family-friendly accommodations in their multi-bedroom residences or suite accommodations. Your children are certain to create lasting memories here while parents enjoy the luxury that Rosewood Resorts are known for.

Maui:

  • Four Seasons Maui

  • Maui’s only complimentary kids club welcomes keiki ages 5 and older to the golden sands of Wailea. The full day 9am to 5pm programming allows kids to engage in crafts, swim, eat lunch, play games and relax - which allows parents to enjoy a full day at the spa or exploring themselves. Four Seasons Maui staff include children in all aspects of their stay and can even chase a torch bearer around the resort at night as he lights the over 50 torches on the property! Attention to detail is strong here as the property can supply many of the extra comforts of home to children on property including: stroller, playpen, baby monitor, bottle warmer, swim diapers, high chair, pop up tent and baby swing. The club level here truly shines for the all day options including continental breakfast, afternoon tea, premium cocktail service and after-dinner drinks. The club level upgrade here is well worth it!

Kauai:

  • 1 Hotel Hanalei Bay:

  • The Seedlings Kids Club allows your keiki to be immersed in a nurturing environment blending dynamic and playful experiences with imagination and discovery. This kids club offers part time and full day drop off care depending on the season. The family pool at 1 Hotel is extremely welcoming to kids and the beachfront is calm enough for the littles to enjoy too. Snag a beachfront cabana for easy access to the beautiful bay.

Lanai:

  • Four Seasons Lanai

  • Are you sensing the trend here? Four Seasons are the best blend of family-conscious luxury. Thanks to the complimentary flight over to Lanai from Oahu, they do their best to make everything as seamless as possible for families. Their kids program gives children ages 5 to 12 the opportunity to appreciate Hawaii’s natural beauty and learn about the culture. The resort can even plan a fun day for you with your kids to explore Lanai together.
