Day 1: Beat the jetlag

Sydney Harbourfront is a dazzling and iconic waterfront area in Sydney, Australia.

You're likely to get into Sydney either late at night the day before or early in the morning day one. Either way, put on your walking shoes, it's best to hit some of the major sites on foot to beat that jetlag.

Royal Botanic Garden Sydney - One of the most visited international tourist attractions in Australia. The Garden hosts lots of talks, walks and workshops but you can also take yourself on a self-guided stroll through the grounds.

Sydney Opera House - Likely Sydney's most iconic landmark. There are daily tours that will take you through the Opera House. I also recommend checking out their website for a calendar of performances (including free ones!)

Relax in Barangaroo Reserve - Barangaroo is a waterfront park with walking and cycling paths, plus a variety of trees, grassy areas and scenic views. You can also rest your feet at one of Crown Sydney's many restaurants (or do a little luxury shopping) or cool down with a quick dip in Marrinawi Cove.

Day 2: Taronga Zoo & Darling Harbour

Darling Harbour offers a diverse range of attractions, dining options, and entertainment, perfect for locals and tourists alike.

Catch a ferry from circular quay to Taronga Zoo. You can easily spend most of your day exploring the Zoo's massive 69-acre grounds home to over 2,600 animals.

In the evening I'd recommend heading over to Darling Harbour where there is often an event going on.

Day 3: Coogee Beach walk to Bondi

Bondi Beach is a world-famous and vibrant sandy stretch in Sydney, Australia, renowned for its golden shores.

Head to the beach! Your last day in Sydney is best spent at the beach. Grab your walking shoes again. I'd recommend taking a bus or taxi to Coogee Beach and doing the Coogee to Bondi walk to take in the beauty of the coast with lots of places to rest, eat and swim.
