Curator’s statement
Discovering Rome was an unforeseen delight that took me by surprise. What unfolded was a remarkable experience that left an enduring imprint. "Unexpected Rome" with its intertwining threads of history and modernity, revealed its charm as I meandered through its cobblestone streets. The Colosseum, a silent witness to bygone eras leaving a lasting impression of the grandeur of Roman civilization. A meeting with the Pope and the loudest thunderstorm of my life. It was a magical experience. It is a tribute to the unforeseen, an exploration of love discovered in unexpected places, and a celebration of the timeless allure that defines Rome.
