Curator’s statement

Phuket is the largest island in Thailand with unlimited adventures from beaches to bars. A luxurious experience for a reasonable price considering the currency conversion. I traveled here for my Kobe year for a week, while the travel time was long, it was so worth it. The culture was my favorite part of this trip. Thailand is on my no-limit list for travel spots.

Things to do in Phuket

The blue water of Monkey Beach, Phi Phi Islands

Tiger Kingdom - Tigers of different shapes and stripes but highly trained.

Bangla Road - Nightlife Phuket from hiphop to pop; lots of bars and restaurants as well.

Phi Phi Islands - A mixture of islands with clear beautiful blue water (Monkey Beach was my favorite).

Kata Beach - Snorkeling in the corral blue sea.

Big Buddha - Hope for the future but a temple filled with monks and prayers.

3D Trickeye Museum - Filled with many wall illusions and laughs (if you’re a couple traveling, consider bringing a tripod to capture the moments together as you will have to take your own pictures).

Upside Down House Museum - You never get too old to have fun and create memories a really cool attraction (recommended for family).

Thalang Weekend Market - Local market filled with good eats; specifically fresh fruit.

Elephant Jungle Sanctuary Phuket - Enjoy your experience with feeding, loving or swimming with the elephants.

Kee Sky Lounge - Rooftop restaurant with amazing views and cocktails.
