Things to do
Visit Mykonos Town (or Chora): You have probably seen the images of white stucco buildings running along narrow, cobblestone streets, accented by varying hues of blue shutters and doors. Mykonos Town (Chora) is where people flock (and for a good reason!). If you don't stay in Chora, spend at least a day here. Wander around, explore the local shops, get drinks along the water and finish with dinner at a delicious restaurant.
Wine tasting: There are many wine tasting excursions to fit your needs. This is a great way to learn about the history of Greek wine, meet some other couple friends and of course, taste delicious wines.
Sunset Catamaran Tour: Spend an afternoon and evening on a sunset cruise with an eight-course meal and your significant other. I would love to help book this for you! A sunset boat tour is key in order to have the best romantic honeymoon in Mykonos, Greece.
Relax by the pool: Scheduling some time by your hotel pool is a romantic getaway must. After all of that wedding planning exhaustion, this is ideal. Many Mykonos hotels have a pool, making this an easy decision.
Relax at a beach in Ornos: Along the lines of relaxing, Mykonos also has some great beaches, especially in the town of Ornos (a short distance from Chora). I recommend setting aside some time to find a beach club. Imagine spending the afternoon with your new spouse, hopping from sun bathing on a beach bed to dips in the ocean. Plus, you'll be able to access the restaurant services such as olives and cocktails (or Greek wine!).
Visit the Mykonos Windmills: These may be the most iconic parts of the island. There are 16 total windmills, and Mykonos Town is where you will find several of them. Building began hundreds of years ago, helping to serve their purpose: to mill wheat.
Take a traditional cooking class: One of the most romantic things you can do on your honeymoon is a traditional cooking class! Select from a mid-day or evening class depending on your schedule.
Eat delicious food: This is obviously a must. The food in Mykonos is top-notch! It's a great destination for foodie-couples who want to spend a few hours trying new dishes (or favorites) every night. Don't forget to try moussaka, dolmas (dolmades), fresh pita and hummus.
Places to eat & drink
Mykonos Town (Chora):
KAVOS: This is a favorite for an approachable and friendly seaside lunch. They have the best dolmas and you can take it all in as you sit right near the water.
Kadena: Kadena comes highly recommended. It's a great spot for any time of day, such as brunch!
Kastros: The Little Venice area right on the edge of Chora has numerous bars right on the cliffside of the water, Kastros being one of them. There are many to choose from you and you might even get splashed by crashing waves!
Vegera Mykonos: The boardwalk in Mykonos is crawling with food destinations. I always recommend those with the highest ratings. So many people go through Mykonos every year, so the ratings can tell you a lot!
Ornos Town:
Kostantis: This is a great option to enjoy some dinner in a bit of a quieter part of the island. It's also right on the ocean!
Mykonos Essence Hotel - Soul Bar - Restaurant: Even if you aren't staying here (which I recommend you do!) this restaurant is delicious and worth a stop one evening. If you can't make dinner, consider it for a pre-dinner drink.
Other restaurants on Mykonos Island:
This Greek Farm Winery: This is highly recommended. A great way to fully experience the winery is to do a tour one afternoon.
Nero Nero Restaurant: Consider this for a fine-dining experience and some of the best restaurant reviews you will see!
