Day 1: The Best of Mallorca

Natural beauty in Mallorca with sea and cliffs.

Plan to arrive in Palma in the late morning/early afternoon. Check into your hotel and head to lunch. Can Blanc is a must hit! Grab a spot outside for ocean views.

After lunch start walking up to Bellver Castle, a 14th century royal fortress located at the top of a hill. The walk is a little over a mile long and requires some stairs, but the castle is also accessible by car. The castle grounds are free and provide a beautiful overlook to the island. You can also choose to pay 4 euros to enter the property. After enjoying the scenery, head back to your hotel.

The streets of Palma are full of galleries and shops so we recommend walking to your hotel if you're able. Put your feet up and enjoy a glass of local cava before your evening starts.

For dinner, grab a 7:30pm reservation at Ombu. Try: The toasted bao bun with caramelized onions, shiitake mushroom, and truffled burrata & the octopus carpaccio with thai foam.

After dinner, walk towards the Cathedral de Mallorca to watch sunset. For late night, start with drinks at Pachamama Cocktail Bar. Continue the party at Aga Bar. End the night listening to jazz at The Jazz Lounge; they're open late night so we recommend arriving no earlier than 11pm!

Day 2: Boat Day

Mallorca views of a boat on the sea.

Boat day! Palma offers a lot of group and private boat tours. We recommend using Oasis Catamarans. The boat leaves from Port Palma at 9:30am and arrives at the same place by 3pm. Oasis is a group boat, but they make sure not to overcrowd the boat giving you plenty of space!

Grab breakfast at your hotel before heading to the port. Tickets cost 78 euros per person, but include snacks, a traditional Iberian BBQ (vegetarian options available) and drinks (both booze & non-alcoholic.) You also have access to paddle boards and snorkeling gear to use when the boat stops in different coves. The water is clear and beautiful making this a can't miss attraction!

Between the sun and wine, you'll want to plan for a nap when you get back. We'd recommend making later dinner reservations around 8 or 8:30pm at Assaona Beach Club .

After dinner, take a stroll along the beach path. Ginbo Cocktail Bar is a perfect night cap. Mallorca is know for distilling gin and Ginbo does a great job of highlighting the spirit. Bonus: If you're staying at Hotel Jaime III, this is right downstairs.

If you're looking for more of a party scene, take a cab to Magaluf and hit any of the many clubs and bars. There's something for everyone in this area: clubs, silent discos, pubs and dance parties. Cabs are easy to get at the end of the night so you can let loose and stay out as long as you want!

Day 3: Unwinding in Palma

Views from the lighthouse hike in Mallorca, Spain.

Think of today as your recovery/beach day. Grab breakfast at Mistral Coffee. Try: one of the specialty toasts!

Then take a cab to Cala Pi (approximately 40 min drive.) Pack your towel, sunscreen and any other beach items you may want! Spend the whole day here. You'll see down the beach down a flight of stairs. If you're feeling adventurous, you can also cliff jump just a short walk from Playa de Cala Pi.

Make sure to wear good tennis shoes if you plan on doing the hike, sandals won't cut it! At the top of the walk, you'll see Defense Tower and after walking a bit further, there's a cove where you can swim and cliff jump! Grab some French fries and mayo at the snack stand before calling a cab back to Palma. You can ask the front desk at one of the local hotels to call a cab for you.

Once you're back at your hotel, we recommend pushing through and making this an earlier night. After changing out of your beach clothes, hit Kaizen for dinner. Sushi in Palma is great because the seafood is so fresh. Try: Their housemade spicy mayo! Ask for it on the side.

Finish the night walking through the streets of Palma. There is lots of shopping in the town centre. There are many gelato shops in that area for dessert while you wander!

Day 4: Time to Say Goodbye

Mallorca natural views from the mountains.

Travel day! Mallorca is perfect to add on to your European vacation. We recommend tacking on Italy, Spain's mainland or Ibiza.
