Curator’s statement
Paris's 7th Arrondissement is one of my favorite neighborhoods and it is where I personally stayed on my last visit. It is the home of many of the most popular tourist attractions and it is centrally located within the city. It's no wonder it continues to be a magnet for visitors and locals alike. The seventh arrondissement exudes Parisian charm, with grand boulevards, manicured gardens, and world-class museums. Here is a quick travel guide for the seventh Arrondissement, featuring things to do, places to stay and places to dine.

Things to do in Paris
Eiffel Tower: Did you know this iconic monument is located in the seventh Arrondissements? Visiting is an absolute must for any first-time visitor to Paris. There are several options for visiting, including taking the stairs or the lift to the second floor, but I highly recommend booking a ticket that includes lift access to the very top. The views are incredible!
Champs de Mars: Before or after your visit to the Eiffel Tower, plan to spend some extra time exploring the park surrounding the monument. Take a ride on or simply a photograph of the beautiful antique carousel, or pack a picnic to enjoy in this lush setting.
Pro Tip: This is a common area for pick-pockets and street scammers, so just be aware of your surroundings and don’t be afraid to walk away from anyone without speaking to them.
Invalides: This is an incredible monument to the. The lawn outside is another popular place to picnic, and it will be packed with Parisians on warm evenings.
Musée d'Orsay: This incredible art museum is dedicated to Impressionist and Post-Impressionist art, and it has the largest collection of works from these movements in the world. If you’re looking for works by Van Gogh, Renoir, Degas, and Monet, you will find them here.
Rodin Museum: Another wonderful art museum dedicated entirely to the works of sculptor Auguste Rodin. You’ll find plenty of his works indoors, but don’t miss the lovely sculpture garden, which has flowers blooming all year round.
Le Bon Marché Rive Gauche: This Parisian staple (since 1852!) is THE place to shop in the 7th Arrondissement. You’ll find designer and contemporary clothing, shoes, and accessories; an entire floor devoted to children’s clothes, books, and toys; and an incredible food hall across the street - La Grande Épicerie.

Arpège: This beautiful and world-famous restaurant from chef Alain Passard has been awarded three Michelin stars. It is very vegetable-forward, and the produce is grown in the restaurant’s own garden. It’s a splurge for sure, but dining here would be a wonderful memory.
Brasserie Thomieux: The interior of this restaurant is very chic, and the food is great too! On Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights, the pianist keeps this place rockin’ until the early hours of the morning.
Pro Tip: There is a stunning view of the Eiffel Tower as you approach the restaurant from Rue St. Dominique.
Davoli: This is not a restaurant, but a gourmet Italian grocer selling charcuteries, cheese, pre-made salads, desserts, and so much more. Stop here to grab picnic food you can take to Champs de Mars or Invalides.
