Things to do in Seoul

Gwangjang Market: One of the oldest traditional markets. It’s the perfect place to try dishes like bindaetteok (mung bean pancakes) and tteokbokki (spicy rice cakes).
Myeongdong Street Food: Wander the bustling streets of Myeongdong and sample a variety of snacks like hotteok (sweet pancakes) and crispy fried chicken skewers.
Jongno’s Gukbap Alley: Dive into a warm, comforting bowl of gukbap (rice soup) at this famous alley, where locals gather for hearty meals.
Noryangjin Fish Market: For seafood lovers, this market is a must-visit, where you can pick fresh fish and have it prepared right on the spot.
Insadong: Known for its traditional teas and sweets, Insadong is the perfect spot for a quiet break with a warm bowl of patbingsu (shaved ice with red bean).
Itaewon: This multicultural neighborhood offers a global dining scene, from Middle Eastern kebabs to authentic Mexican tacos.
Hongdae: After exploring the indie vibe of the area, stop by for creative fusion dishes and trendy cafés serving everything from Korean BBQ to vegan delights.
Samcheongdong: A charming neighborhood for a more laid-back food experience, with plenty of cozy cafés offering traditional Korean teas and pastries.

Need to know
Many of the fine-dining restaurants in Seoul can be booked out months in advance. It is advised to plan ahead if there are restaurants that you definitely want to experience. CatchTable is the reservation app that most restaurants use for making reservations.
