Day 1: Arrive in Jasper

Fly into Calgary, rent a car and take the five-hour car ride with breathtaking views and twists and turns. Check into the Fairmont Jasper Lodge. Enjoy dinner at the fiddle river.

Day 2: Maligne tour

Sign up for a Maligne Tour. In the afternoon, discover the hidden gem of Mount Edith Cavell — a short hike to a magnificent glacier. Try dinner at Terra.

Day 3: Drive to Banff

Leave Jasper and head towards Banff. On the way, take the Athabasca Glacier Walk. Stop at Lake Louise on the way to Banff. Insider tip: Visit in the late afternoon when it is less crowded. Check into the Fairmont Banff Springs.

Day 4: Lake O'hara

For hiking enthusiasts, check out Lake O'hara. Access is limited daily but if you can get a reservation, do not turn it down. Great way to get away from the summer crowds. Pick up sandwiches at Nesters market on the way. Enjoy dinner at Juniper in Banff.

Day 5: Seeing the views

Enjoy a bow river float trip to see Banff from the water. Follow it up with a tour of Banff by land in an open top vintage vehicle.

Head to Moraine Lake to stay at the lodge. Enjoy Dinner at the lodge

Day 6: Enjoy Moraine Lake

Canoe on Moraine Lake in between hiking the numerous trails. Insider tip: The lodge offers guided hikes throughout the week, and guests of the lodge can canoe on the lake complimentary and do not have to wait on the lines. Enjoy dinner at the lodge.
