Curator’s statement

Istanbul is one of the most unique destinations on the planet as it is one of the few cities that are located on two continents simultaneously. As you are making your way around the city, you feel all of the rich history from the many different time periods this city has withstood and the culture around you as the city of Istanbul feels like you are in an open-air museum with many architectural masterpieces and historic landmarks located throughout the city. Being divided by the legendary Bosphorus Straight, there are two distinct sections of the city which are the European Side and the Asian Side, which both have to offer drastically different experiences. You simply cannot go wrong spending time in this charming, international city that is world known for its delectable cuisines, Turkish hospitality, vibrant nightlife and its iconic role it plays in history and modern-day society.
