Things to do in Costa Rica

Guachipelin Adventure Tour
This is a great tour for the solo adventure seeker. Join a larger group and meet new people. This tour includes zip lining, extreme tubing, horseback riding and end the day in natural hot springs.
Sunset Catamaran Tour
Fun tour to relax and enjoy the sunset from a boat. Friendly staff. You get to go to a secluded island only reachable by boat and swim ashore and explore the island before heading back to watch the sunset.
ATV Beach Tour
Fun way to explore several different beaches. Don’t forget to bring cash to grab some drinks at one of the secluded beach bars that mostly locals know about.
Night Market
Lots of local artists, street food and music. Great place to get unique gifts that are not found at your typical souvenir stores.
Get a Massage on the Beach
Lots of places to get massages on the beach. Check out the prices before committing to the first one. Cheaper than a spa and you can't beat the view.
Surf Lessons
Tamarindo is known for its amazing surf. There are a ton of lessons being offered up and down the beach. Try La Muda Surf CR, if you don’t stand up, they give you your money back!
Leona Waterfall
Book a tour or if you have a car, make a reservation yourself. Be prepared for a full day, even if the tour is half-day. Leaving Tamarindo to the Rincon De La Vieja is a little bit of a trek and be prepared for traffic. It is worth the trip if you have the time.
Relax on Tamarindo Beach
Grab a towel and a good book and enjoy the sandy beach.
