Where to stay

Day 1: Drinks and local fare

Sunset at beach as clouds drift over the orange sun at dusk.

You will likely arrive in San Juan around midday. Check into your ocean-front hotel and meet up with your girls for an afternoon lunch by the pool or by the beach. Soak up the sun and sip on a Piña Colada or two!

Head back to your room and get ready for an extravagant night out! Start your night off with a toast at ARYA Rooftop. Then head to Vianda for a pre-fix dinner in their private dining room where you will experience incredibly fresh farm-to-table fare and unique cocktails. The perfect spot to kick off the bachelorette weekend.

After dinner, make your way to Club Brava for VIP table service to celebrate your special weekend! You will dance the night away with amazing music in a vibrant and upbeat setting.

Day 2: Boat day

Start your morning off with a delicious complimentary breakfast at the hotel to fuel up for your boat day.

Next, head to your private boat excursion, where you’ll spend the day on the water visiting Cayo Icacos and experiencing its crystal-clear waters! Your boat crew will provide lunch, drinks and snacks, so don’t forget to curate a fun playlist to blast while you relax on the boat and enjoy the water.

Once you’ve recuperated from your boat day, head into Old San Juan to explore and get acquainted with the historic city. If you have time, stop by Marilyn's Place for a refreshing mojito before making your way to Barrachina for a traditional Puerto-Rican meal.

After dinner, enjoy drinks and dancing at La Factoria, consistently rated one of the top 50 bars in the world!

Day 3: Rum tour and drinks

Enjoy breakfast and then head down to the beach to maximize your time in the sun! Or if you prefer to venture out, check out La Casita Blanca for a casual lunch with your girls!

In the afternoon, head to Casa Bacardi for the ultimate tour, where you will learn about the iconic rum and its history. Most tours come with a drink included and it was one of the best Pina Colada's I have ever had!

Afterward, you can spend the afternoon exploring the charming streets of Old San Juan or return to the beach for some more relaxation.

For dinner, indulge in a special meal at Casita Miramar, where you’ll enjoy an authentic Puerto-Rican dinner in a private room and your bride-to-be will feel extremely special with her Queen’s chair.

After dinner, you can either go back and relax at the hotel in one of your suites, or head out to La Placita for another fun night out! There are tons of bars in La Placita, so I recommend just bar hopping to whichever catches your eyes or ears!

Day 4: Farewell

Waves gently lap the shore as the sun sets in the distance on a clear day dotted with clouds.

Spend your last morning on the beach and say farewell to your gals! You'll reminisce about this amazing bachelorette or girls' weekend for years to come!

Need to know

San Juan is an incredible destination for a bachelorette or girls' weekend! Note to maids of honor and brides — I highly recommend booking all reservations well in advance, especially if you are traveling with a large group. You do not need to rent a car for this trip — all destinations are accessible by Uber or car service!
