Designed exclusively for adults, these voyages provide an unparalleled journey through some of the Caribbeans most stunning destinations. Guest can indulge in fine dining restaurants, rejuvenate at the spa and enjoy dynamic entertainment. It’s your opportunity to explore the Caribbean in a whole different way, where every detail is crafted to create an unforgettable escape. My time on the Scarletlady was everything I imagined it to be. Staying in the Rockstar Suites Cheeky Corner on Virgin is an experience. Our suite was located at the aft corner of the ship with panoramic, breathtaking views of the ocean and the ship's wake from our spacious terrace. With a dedicated Rockstar agent, it’s hard not to choose these suites every time you sail with Virgin Voyages. It was a truly exceptional vacation I will never forget.

Things to do in Miami

When embarking on a cruise, I love to stay close to the Port of Miami. Brickell is a vibrant neighborhood located in downtown Miami, bordered by the Biscayne Bay to the east. It is known as Miami’s financial district. However, it also offers a dynamic mix of residential, commercial and cultural attractions.
In Brickell and close-by cities, you can find the following:
Recommended hotel before and after your cruise:
East Miami Hotel offers a variety of accommodations from suites to residences. This luxury hotel has great amenities such as a variety of restaurants, a pool, spa, rooftop bar and a fitness center.
Shopping:
Brickell Center is a luxury dining and shopping complex. It features high-end retail stores, a variety of restaurants and a luxury hotel (East Miami Hotel). The beautiful Koi fishpond is a sight to see.
Things to do:
Riverwalk is where I love to enjoy a scenic stroll, which features picturesque views of the river and the city skyline, with access to various restaurants and parks. I love it here and enjoy watching all of the boats pass by.
Puttshack is the cutest indoor mini-golf that is on another level. It’s great for families, date nights or just a night out on the town.
Skyview Observation Wheel Miami is located at Biscayne Bay Marketplace. This Ferris wheel offers 360-degree breathtaking views of the city. Tickets can be purchased onsite or online. Make sure to book in advance to avoid the crowds.
Night out on the town:
Sexy Fish is a vibrant upscale restaurant with an Asian-inspired menu. This stylish restaurant is a work of art. The restroom is a vibe. If you’re lucky enough, the restroom host will ask if you would like a photo shoot. It's that beautiful. I promise you will thank me later.
Mayami encapsulates the vibrant energy of Miami. This trendy restaurant / nightclub has become my favorite place to go when in town. The late-night menu hits the spot all of the time.
Sala’o Restaurant and Bar is located in the heart of Little Havana. The cocktails and live music are what I enjoy most about Sala’o.
Day trips:
Wynwood Walls is an outdoor museum showcasing vibrant street art and murals by renowned artists. The surrounding Wynwood district is also home to trendy cafes, galleries and shops.
Little Havana is where you can enjoy authentic Cuban food. Explore the colorful streets, visit the Calle Ocho Walk of fame and experience the lively local music.
Places to eat & drink in Miami

Breakfast
The Henry is open daily for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The Avocado Toast is delicious paired with their Cafecito Martini. It's five o’clock somewhere.
Quinto is located at the East Miami Hotel. You can enjoy a meal outdoors terrace overlooking the Miami skyline or indoors in their chic bohemian-styled restaurant. I highly recommend the Quinto Burrito paired with the Mimosa.
La Industria Bakery is owned by the famous Reggaeton artist Nickey Jam. It is known for its delicious baked goods and stacked pancakes. The Malanga Croquettes are a must-try.
Lunch
Sanguich De Miami is known for its legendary Cuban sandwich. With recipes passed down from generations, it’s no wonder why Sanguich de Miami is on the prestigious Michelin guide.
The Taco Stand is a delicious “Hecho a Mano” taco eatery, which means hand-made. You can choose from burritos, quesadillas and tacos. My favorite item on the menu is the Chorizo Burrito.
Versailles known as the most famous Cuban restaurant located in the heart of Miami’s Cuban Community. Every time I’m in Miami, Versailles is on my list of places to eat. I have tried pretty much every item on the menu, and the Arroz Con Pollo is always a dish I order. Cafecito is on another level. For all of your coffee lovers, this is a must!
Dinner
Baia Beach Club is located at the Mondrian South beach. This restaurant has the most stunning views of the Miami Skyline, and the sunsets here are magical. The ambiance at Baia Beach Club combines modern elegance with a relaxed tropical feel. The Mediterranean menu selection at Baia includes a selection of gourmet dishes, with my favorite being the Mediterranean Salad and the Burrata.
Casadonna is a beautiful beachfront modern Italian restaurant. The aesthetics at Casadonna are every creator's dream. The Campanelle is a chef's kiss. Did you even come to Casadonna if you didn’t order the Delizie Al Limone? The presentation is unlike anything else.
Sugar is located on the 40th floor of the East Miami Hotel. You can enjoy a nice cocktail with Asian-inspired dishes and listen to some great music.
