Curator’s statement
Among the red tile roofs of the Baltic states, Vilnius stands out among the Baltic capitals for its charming Old Town, surprising food scenes and welcoming people. Vilnius is a UNESCO World Heritage Site that sits along the Neris River and used to be the capital of the Grand Duchy of Lithuania. The city has expanded from its charming old city and developed into a great food city.

Located 30 minutes outside Vilnius, Trakai is a picturesque town that surrounds Trakai Island Castle (a 14th-century fortress in the middle of Lake Galvė). Plenty of small shops and local restaurants to fill your day. Best way to see the town is to take a hot air balloon ride over it. Once you do, you will feel like you're in a Studio Ghibli movie.
