Things to do in Puerto Rico
Spend a day in Old San Juan
Historical monuments, iconic and unique architecture, colorful streets, traditional foods and the best sunset on the island. For the best viewpoint, head to Puerta de San Juan.
Beaches
Relax at the most beautiful beaches of the Atlantic Ocean (north) or the Caribbean Sea (south). Go snorkeling, scuba diving, kayaking or surfing, or take a boat tower to the nearest island. Don’t miss a night tour of the Bioluminescent Bay.
Day trip to El Yunque
Puerto Rico’s only tropical rainforest, the most biologically diverse and most studied forest in the US National Forest System.
El Yunque offers hiking trails, hidden swimming holes and simply amazing nature.
You can visit some parts of El Yunque freely, but others will require a reservation in advance for access to the main recreation area.
