Curator’s statement

Copenhagen holds a special place in my heart for so many reasons. Its charm is undeniable, with beautiful streets and picturesque canals that feel straight out of a fairytale. My husband surprised me by taking me there for my birthday, making it even more memorable. I was amazed by the incredible swimming spots, which offered a unique way to experience the city's natural beauty. The food scene was nothing short of spectacular, and I loved the chic shopping, where every corner seemed to offer something stylish. Above all, the people were the nicest I’ve ever met, adding warmth to the whole experience.

Things to do in Copenhagen, Denmark

Advisor posing in front of colored houses at Christianshavn, a vibrant, canal-filled district in Copenhagen.

1.) Tivoli Gardens-yummy food and ride the original “Matterhorn”.

2.) Go Boat rentals-Bring a bottle of wine and some cheese! Incredible experience if you like being out on the water, so much to see from your boat.

3.) Swim at La Banchina- this is a must. You can swim, people watch, order a glass of wine or a cappuccino and they even have a sauna!

4.) Walk around Reffen- so many different food options here. I recommend picking your favorite and taking it near the water to eat, so beautiful. Also, don’t forget to take a photo in the photo booth on your way out.

5.) Bike through charming Christianshaven- this area of town is home to some of the cutest boutiques. Rent a bike and ride along the canals!

6.) Picnic in Rosenborg Castle Gardens-pick up some food, grab a blanket and set up a picnic in this stunning park. Or just walk through and people watch.
