Day 1: Arrive in the Gothic Quarter
There is no better place to stay in Barcelona, than its heart, the Gothic Quarter. Centrally located with so many wonderful shops, restaurants, bars and more. You will feel like a local walking the narrow, ancient streets. Close to Las Ramblas, and walking distance from the beach front, you are in the perfect spot to enjoy your romantic getaway!
Day 2: Gaudi, Gaudi, Gaudi
If this is your first visit to Barcelona, you would be remiss to not see the stunning designs created by Spain’s most celebrated architect Antoni Gaudi. His is a true love story with Barcelona as he spent his life creating beauty for the city and beyond. La Familia Sagrada, the place he was working on until he passed away, has been under construction for over 100 years, and it is finally almost completed! Check out the parks, homes, churches and more that he dedicated his life to. While some locations may be busy, many offer tickets with limited availability, which can offer more intimate views.
Day 3: See the City by Bicycle
The hotel you are staying in will either have bikes to rent or have a great local company to recommend for you to use for the day. The city has many bike lanes and is really built for you to cruise along safely with your partner. If you’re feeling adventurous and looking for exercise, bike up to the Montjuïc Castle which was built in 1640. Sitting high above the city it has 360º views to see the beauty of the sea and the mountains.

Depending on your nightlife desires, there are so many great bars and speakeasies for you to explore in the evenings. Barcelona is a city that comes alive at night. The streets are filled with people enjoying the nightlife until the late late evening every night. One of the top five best bars in the world is located in the city, with many more low-key spots dotted throughout the city!
