Day 1: 9/11 Memorial, Statue of Liberty & the High Line

The Statue of Liberty standing tall against a clear blue sky, as seen from across water.

Welcome to New York!

If you are lucky to arrive in the morning, head to your hotel and ask for them to hold your luggage until check-in time. From there, you are ready to begin your adventure!

Find the closest subway station and head to the 9/11 Memorial, where you want to be sure to grab a ticket to visit this historically memorable place. After your tour is complete, you are going to take about a 10-minute walk to visit the famous Statue of Liberty. Be sure to also reserve your tickets ahead of time. There are other options for you to pick in regards to reservations like access to the crown and pedestal. Please note that there is not an elevator inside the Statue of Liberty.

Once you have completed your tour and returned back to Battery Park, you are sure to be hungry! This is the perfect opportunity to take a 10-minute walk to Joe’s Pizza to experience the best New York pizza.

Now it’s time to head back to your hotel to check in and prepare for an evening of culture and fine dining.

Once you have freshened up, head to the High Line to experience local art, nature and design. From there, enjoy some fine dining at one of the many local restaurants:

After dinner, explore a little more in the NoMad district before heading to bed to get well rested for another day of sightseeing.

Day 2: The Met, Rockefeller Center & 5th Avenue

The city skyline bathed in sunset’s glow, mirrored by the tranquil waters below.

Today will be a full day of walking, so be sure to wear your best walking shoes!
Start your morning by catching the subway to Central Park. Before entering the park, stop into Sip and Co. to grab a classic New York bagel or a delicious breakfast burrito along with a coffee. Enjoy your breakfast sitting outside Sip and Co. or take it to go while you stroll through Central Park with your drink in tow. Start venturing your way north through the park to head to the Met, the Metropolitan Museum of Art. After touring the Met, take the subway to Rockefeller Center. There is so much to take in at Rockefeller Center, such as FAO Schwarz, Top of the Rock or, if you are visiting during the holidays, ice skating under the iconic Christmas tree is a must.

Once you have shopped your hearts out and completed your tours, make your way down 5th Avenue and stop for a bite to eat in Bryant Park. For more of a sit-down place check out Bryant Park Grill or for more simple and grab and go, check out Le Pain Quotidien.

After you have reenergized with a meal, continue down 5th Avenue to see the Empire State Building, the Flatiron Building and finally Washington Square Park. Once you have completed your journey to Washington Square Park, you only have a few more steps until you treat yourself to the mouth-watering cronut at Dominique Ansel Bakery.

Finally, make your way back to your hotel to freshen up for dinner at Gotham Restaurant and maybe check out a jazz club (Blue Note) or comedy show (Village Underground).

Day 3: Brooklyn, Chinatown & Broadway

Enjoy a more leisurely morning, grab a bagel from a local bodega shop and stroll around for a little.

Head to the subway and venture to the Brooklyn Bridge. Walk across the bridge, being sure to take in all the sights of the city and getting your Instagram-worthy photos along the way. Once across the bridge, check out the Brooklyn Bridge Park or walk a little more over to DUMBO. In regard to eating here, check out Celestine for floor-to-ceiling views and a straightforward menu or check out Westville for their yummy brunch!

Make your way back to Manhattan by walking across the Manhattan Bridge. Once across the bridge, after taking even more Instagram-worthy pictures, make your way to Chinatown. Walk around and stop for some soup dumplings at Joe's Shanghai.

Head back to your hotel to rest and freshen up before you watch a Broadway show tonight. If you are looking for a place to eat, call and make a reservation at Bar Centrale — they will make sure they get you in and out before your show time. After your show, you can swing by Times Square to check out the hype and excitement of what it has to offer.
