Curator’s statement

Nashville is a super fun city to visit, especially for groups. The live music scene is hard to beat and there's a luxurious feel to the city. The city also has a great food scene and is clean, safe and walkable. Consider visiting Nashville on your next long weekend!

Day 1: Exploring music sites

A city area at nighttime

Morning:

Vanderbilt University: Check out Vandy’s campus and Centennial Park including The Parthenon replica, and the bench and willow tree dedicated to Taylor Swift.

Afternoon:

Legends Corner: Head over to Broadway to see the mural at Legends Corner and grab some lunch.

Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum: Spend the afternoon exploring the Country Music Hall of Fame.

Evening:

Dinner at The Southern Steak & Oyster: Treat yourself to a Southern-inspired meal at this popular spot downtown. The service and food are both top-notch!

Sunset at the John Seigenthaler Pedestrian Bridge: Walk across this bridge for stunning views of the Nashville skyline and The Titans Nissan stadium.

Live music on Broadway: Visit one of the many bars with live music at the lively downtown scene. Pro tip: bring cash as many bars still charge cash covers.

Day 2: Marathon Village and more music

Morning:

Breakfast at Biscuit Love: Start your day with a classic Southern breakfast at Biscuit Love, a favorite among locals and visitors alike. Pro tip: get there early and expect a wait, but the Bonuts are worth it!

The Gulch: take a stroll around this neighborhood and be sure to snap a pic in front of the What Lifts You Mural.

Afternoon:

Marathon Village: Check out this community of retail, business, entertainment and the historical Marathon Motor Works Museum, including lunch options and the Jack Daniel’s tasting room and Grinder’s Switch Winery.

Evening:

Dinner at Hattie B’s: a Nashville classic. Be prepared to wait in line, but it’s a must-do when you’re visiting Nashville. I love spicy foods but decided to get the medium and wow — it was hot!

Historic Printer’s Alley: Check out the live music scene at Printer’s Alley, which has one of the best Blues bars in the city.
