Curator’s statement
Budapest is a beautiful city situated along the Danube River. Budapest is a city that could easily be combined with a longer European itinerary and is known for thermal baths, beautiful architecture and Hungarian cuisine. I traveled to Budapest with my family in between a longer European itinerary and felt that four days was a good amount of time to see the sights and enjoy!

Things to do in Budapest
1Take a small group bike tour of Budapest. I'm a big fan of bike tours because they are a great way to learn your way around a city and get a feel for where you want to go in a short amount of time. Along the way you'll ride by Heroes’ Square, City Park, the Parliament Building, Gellért Square and Liberty bridge. This tour also comes with a local guide who can teach you historical facts along the way.
Make your way to the Gellért Spa and have a relaxing day inside a gorgeous building with indoor and outdoor pools by the Gellért Hill. I can arrange tickets in advance so you can skip the lines.
Take a half-day small group Wine Tasting Tour in Etyek Wine Country. This is a fun tour (four hours), a great way to see the country's wine region and enjoy a 2-course Hungarian meal. You must be at least 18 years of age.
For a truly unique Hungarian experience, enjoy a Thermal BeerSpa + Széchenyi spa package. You will have full day access to the picturesque Széchenyi Baths and enjoy a one-of-a-kind soak at Budapest’s beer spa.
Learn the local cuisine with a market tour and cooking class in Budapest. Cooking classes are a fabulous way to learn some new skills while feasting on the local cuisine. This tour includes a 4-course lunch, accompanied by local wines.
Head out on a Budapest Danube River Sightseeing Night Cruise. What better way to get some phenomenal photos of Budapest's landmarks than from the water during sunset.
If you prefer to explore on foot, try a Budapest All In One Walking Tour with a café stop. Stop at a few of the major sights including the Opera House, Heroes' Square, St. Stephen's Basilica, Vajdahunyad Castle and the Buda Castle District.
For the beer lovers, try a Craft Beer & Cruise On The Danube. This is another super unique experience on the River Danube where you can sample and learn about the Hungarian beer culture.
