Curator’s statement

Cabo San Lucas is the perfect destination for anything, but especially reconnecting with friends! I like to think of it as the place where the desert meets the beach. A perfect spot for families, honeymoons and especially girls' getaways! A quick hop from the west coast (a bit longer from the East) and you are listening to the waves crash with a craft cocktail in hand. Whether you plan to relax and spa or are in the mood for something more adventurous, an unforgettable weekend awaits!

Breakfast (included with Fora perks at hotels listed above)

  • Mama's Royal in Downtown Cabo: Lots of Mexican and American favorites, enjoy a Tequila Sunrise with your breakfast feast.

  • The Office: A do not miss on Medano Beach, get your "medicine" (morning cocktail from the upbeat waitstaff) at this colorful, toes-in-the-sand cafe with valet parking.

Lunch

  • SUR Beach House: Order a bottle of rose and the freshest sushi around at this Mediterranean spot and you will feel like you are in the South of France. Reserve in advance for front-row chairs - valet parking is available.

  • Hacienda Cocina y Cantina: A great choice for lunch or dinner with a beautiful patio at the end of Medano Beach.

Dinner

  • El Farallon: Choose the freshest of fish caught every morning and dine with the waves splashing on the rocks, the most unique dining venue in Cabo with prices to match (at the Waldorf Pedregal).

  • Flora Farms: Cabo's OG farm-to-table venue, the host of many celebrity weddings, nightly bands, farm tours and even a resident poet that will whip up a personalized poem for your special occasion.

  • Manta at the Cape: Start with drinks at the rooftop bar, followed by an upscale meal at Manta. Pro tip: ask to sit on the deck for the sunset if it's not too windy.

  • Casa Martin: Authentic Mexican courtyard dining with a babbling fountain.

  • Salvatore G: The best Italian and largest portions in Downtown Cabo, I dare you to finish the lasagna - splitting is perfectly acceptable here.

  • El Huerto: Newcomer to the farm-to-table scene, each dish is a work of art. Pro tip: go for breakfast and save some $$ for the spa.

  • Los Tres Gallos: Another unique courtyard dining spot in Downtown Cabo with roving Mariachi bands.
