Curator’s statement

I was lucky enough to have been at the Vegas Golden Knights' Inaugural game in 2017 and got pictures with players on the Gold Carpet before the game. I went to game 1 of the Stanley Cup Final in 2017 as well, with many games between then and now - Vegas is my all-time favorite arena because of the entertainment they provide. It is not just a hockey game. It is a show! And one not to miss while you are there - especially this year, 2023, as you are watching the reigning Stanley Cup Champions!

Things to do in Las Vegas

A man with drum and a woman walking in a parade.

Stay close to the action at NYNY or Park MGM, as they are right outside the Toshiba Plaza and the arena. Luckily, with the location of T-Mobile Arena, most hotels on the strip are just a short walk or tram ride away.

Start the day by checking out the Armory, the official VGK store, to get your gear for the game!

The Park is an awesome outdoor space with multiple restaurants and bars that will get you hyped for game day! This is the place to be on game days. Everything is done big in Vegas, and that includes their hockey games! Get your pre-game meal and drinks at one of the restaurants here. I recommend Beerhaus - very cool vibes, indoor/outdoor seating and games like Jenga and checkers at the tables!

Oftentimes when I am there, the Knight Line and Vegas Belles will lead a parade from NYNY, Brooklyn Bridge to the arena! Follow them up to Toshiba Plaza to keep the party going! They have a stage with live music, other tailgating activities and because you are in Vegas - drinks!

Remember to check guidelines for bags before heading to the arena for the game. Better off leaving them at the hotel if you can! When inside T-Mobile Arena, make sure you do not miss the entertainment provided pre-game and in between periods, they have things like DJ’s to Cirque Shows!! Don’t want to sit still in an arena seat for three periods? Check out tickets for the Hyde Club - a standing-room-only area with a few bars and food. They even have bottle service and comfy couches (at an additional cost).

After the game, head with the crowd back up the Plaza to the Park and enjoy post-game drinks and fun!

Need to know

Even if you are not a fan of hockey, this is the team you want to see! They put a lot of thought into entertaining all types of fans! Enjoy the show!
