Curator’s statement
Located in the middle of Missouri, between Kansas City and St. Louis, Lake of the Ozarks is the ultimate weekend escape in the summer for families, couples and friends. My family enjoys spending multiple weekends every summer exploring the Lake. There is more lake shoreline than the state of California's coastline and so much to do for everyone. Families can bond over lakeside adventures like boating, fishing, and water sports, while couples can enjoy romance along the waterfront or sunset cruises on the lake. For groups of friends seeking fun, the area has a vibrant nightlife, waterfront bars, and thrilling attractions like Big Surf water park. Whether you're seeking relaxation, adventure, or quality time with family, Lake of the Ozarks in Missouri is a great weekend getaway filled with fun and memories to be made.
