Day 1: Arrive in Bermuda and explore Hamilton
In Hamilton, Bermuda's charming capital city, there are plenty of fun activities to enjoy. You can start your day by exploring the historic streets and colorful buildings of Front Street, lined with shops, cafes and galleries. For a taste of Bermuda's maritime heritage, visit the Bermuda National Museum at the Royal Naval Dockyard or take a stroll along the waterfront at Barr's Bay Park. Art enthusiasts can admire local and international works at the Bermuda National Gallery. If you're feeling adventurous, rent a scooter or bicycle to explore the island's scenic landscapes.
For lunch, head over to Devil's Isle Cafe. Depending on your mood, you can grab an afternoon pick-me-up in the form of a coffee or a cocktail.
When dinner time comes around, grab a drink at The Terrace before dinner at Bolero Brassiere.
Day 2: Beach Day
Depending on where you are staying, you could have quite a few options when it comes to relaxing and experiencing the beautiful coastline of Bermuda. Several hotels have their own beach clubs like Hamilton Princess or St. Regis. If you want to explore beyond the hotel's beach, there's no better place than Horseshoe Bay Beach. Visiting Horseshoe Bay Beach in Bermuda promises a quintessential island experience. Renowned for its striking pink sands and crystal-clear turquoise waters, Horseshoe Bay is a picture-perfect paradise. Upon arrival, you're greeted by a crescent-shaped bay framed by limestone cliffs, creating a natural amphitheater of beauty. The soft pink sand, created by crushed coral and shells, is inviting for sunbathing and leisurely walks along the shore. Adventurous visitors can explore the rocky outcrops and hidden coves that punctuate the coastline. The beach chair rentals, restrooms and snack bars ensure a comfortable day.
For dinner, you can simply grab something to eat at one of the nearby spots or clean up and go to a nice dinner at Sul Verde at the Rosewood or Pink Beach Club at The Loren.
Day 3: Explore St. George's
Visiting St. George's in Bermuda is like stepping back in time to the island's colonial past, yet it's alive with a vibrant energy that's uniquely Bermudian. As a UNESCO World Heritage Site, St. George's is rich in historical significance and architectural charm. Cobblestone streets wind through this picturesque town, lined with pastel-colored buildings dating back to the 17th century. One can't miss St. Peter's Church, one of the oldest Anglican churches in the Western Hemisphere, or the State House, a remarkable example of early English colonial architecture. Exploring the town's museums, such as the Bermuda National Trust Museum or the Bermuda Perfumery, provides fascinating insights into Bermuda's history and culture. Wander along Ordnance Island and visit the Deliverance replica, a ship built by shipwrecked settlers in 1610, or simply take in the breathtaking views of St. George's Harbor. For a taste of local life, browse the shops for handmade crafts or enjoy a meal at Wahoo's Bistro for some amazing seafood.
