Check in to the Kimpton St Honore. Situated in the heart of Paris, this boutique hotel offers a blend of Parisian charm and contemporary design with an emphasis on personalized service. Enjoy a cocktail on the rooftop bar with a 360-degree view or relax in the heated swimming pool. You are situated in the heart of Paris with easy access to attractions.

If it's your first time in Paris, you really can't miss the iconic sites such as the Eiffel Tower and the Louvre. It's well worth it to book a tour ahead of time to avoid long lines. Although Notre Dame is still undergoing restoration, you can still take a walking tour around the outside.

Take a day trip to Versailles to view Louis XIV's 700-room palace and gardens. Alternatively, take a trip to Giverny to view the home and the gardens the inspired so many of the works of impressionist painter Claude Monet.

With so many dining options, it's hard to narrow it down. Find a nice bistro with outdoor seating for French classics and people watching. Although a classic tourist thing to do, you can't beat a dinner cruise at night on the Seine for a romantic experience. If you're a foodie, consider Guy Savoy or Le Cinq, both with three Michelin stars.

Days 4 & 5: Lucerne

On arriving in Lucerne by train, you'll make your way to the Park Hotel Vitznau. Enjoy barbecue on the lakefront terrace. After maximizing your time in Paris, take a breather and enjoy the pool and spa area reserved exclusively for hotel guests.

If you're ready to keep going, check out the attractions that showcase Lucerne's charm and beauty. Take a stroll on the Chapel Bridge and the paintings that depict local history. Make sure to see the Lion Monument honoring the Swiss guards who died during the French Revolution. Walk through the cobblestone streets of Old Town and admire the medieval architecture.

For a more active option, take a cruise across the lake. From there, head up to either Mount Pilatus or Mount Rigi. Both offer incredible vistas and hiking. If you are basically in it for the views, take the cable car or cogwheel railway!

Days 6 & 7: Zermatt

A red train traverses a scenic mountainous route with snow-capped peaks in the background.

Transfer by train to Zermatt. Check in to the unique CERVO Mountain Resort, a masterful mix of contemporary with alpine design. Be sure to enjoy the terrace with a view of the Matterhorn. The resort also features a spa with a sauna, massage room and outdoor jacuzzi.

Take the Gomergrat Railway or cable cars for stunning views of the Matterhorn. If you are up for a moderate hike, make your way to Riffelsee Lake. With its calm waters, it offers a unique photographic opportunity to capture the reflection of the Matterhorn.

Day 8: St. Moritz via the Glacier Express

Consider the upgrade to Excellence Class, which features enhanced comfort, concierge service and gourmet meals served at your seat. Some of the many highlights include the Oberalp Pass and the Rhine Gorge. The panoramic views through the large windows make this a once-in-a-lifetime experience.

Upon arrival in St. Moritz, check in to Art Boutique Hotel Monopol, which is located in the heart of town. If time permits, indulge in some high-end shopping.

Day 9: Zurich

An array of chocolate candies on white trays, showcasing a variety of enticing shapes and designs.

Depart St Moritz and head to Zurich. Check in to Storchen Zurich, which is located on the Limmett River with views of the historic district.

Take a guided tour of the Lindt factory to see how Swiss chocolate is made and stock up for friends and family. A leisurely stroll along Lake Zurich's promenade followed by cocktails at Terrasse rooftop bar offers a chance to relax and reminisce about your grand adventure.
