Curator’s statement
Bahamas is my home away from home. I started going with my parents when I was 6 months old and we would go multiple times per year growing up. I finally moved to Nassau full time when I was 24 years old working remotely. The people, culture and beautiful crystal clear water are my reasons I count it as my real home.

Things to do in Nassau, Bahamas
Beaches
Crystal Clear Water and amazing marine life is abound here. You will have a hard time finding water this clear anywhere else in the world. My favorite beach is Old Fort Bay on the western end of the island but it is hard to get to some days. I highly recommend hopping on a private charter boat or group excursion and head to Rose Island, approx 30 min ride from Nassau harbor.
Junkanoo
Junkanoo is the traditional Bahamian parade which includes colorful costumes, floats and music. Each area of the island has its own junkanoo team who come together to create a unique experience every year and they compete on Boxing Day. Junkanoo is hosted on select public bank holidays and special events/occasions such as weddings and more.
Adventure Jet Ski Tours
Let's face it, regular jet ski rentals are old news. KC Watersports in Nassau offers 1.5-4hr Private Jet Ski Tours. This is by far my favorite way to see the island from a different POV. You'll have your own guide and have the choice of where to go or what to see based on ocean conditions, of course.
Market Street (Downtown)
Are you looking for the best deals on knock-off bags, belts, watches and more? Head to Market Street downtown for the best deals and quality on the island.
Day Trips
KC Watersports Bahamas: Yacht Charters, Private Boat Charters, Fishing Trips, Jet Ski Rentals and Jet Ski Tours. They have it all. Charter a big or small boat with a captain to Rose Island, Eleuthera or Northern Exuma for the day. See Nassau from a Jet Ski. Try your hand at local bottom fishing!
