Things to do in Paris

Jardin des Tuileries: A storybook park between the Louvre and Place de la Concorde. Kids can play carnival games, twirl on a vintage carousel, ride trampolines and snack on crêpes with a front-row seat to Parisian life.
See the Sites: Spotting the Eiffel Tower never gets old, whether you're climbing up, picnicking below or watching it sparkle at night. Add a visit to Notre-Dame, Arc de Triomphe, and Sacré-Cœur for the full postcard experience!
Bateaux Mouches (Seine River Cruise): Sail through Paris with a breezy boat ride past all the famous landmarks. Perfect for resting little legs while still sightseeing! Bonus: Spotting all the bridges is a fun game for kids!
Jardin du Luxembourg: Sail toy boats, ride ponies and play in the ultimate Parisian park. A little adventure for the kids, a little café time for you — perfect!
Disneyland Paris: A sprinkle of magic just outside the city — because even in Paris, Disney dreams come true!
Bois de Boulogne & Jardin d’Acclimatation: A massive park with rowboats, bike paths and Paris’ cutest amusement park hidden inside! Ride a mini roller coaster, pet farm animals and hop on a vintage carousel.
Musée Grévin (Wax Museum): Ever wanted to meet Napoleon, Spider-Man, or a French pop star? This wax museum lets kids strike a pose with lifelike figures, making it the perfect mix of history and silliness.
Parc de la Villette: A giant adventure park with everything from futuristic playgrounds to a submarine you can explore. It's part science fair, part jungle gym and totally fun.
Chateau de Versailles: Step into a fairytale! Wander through the golden halls, explore the endless gardens and rent a golf cart to cruise around like royalty.
Bonus: Kids love the boat rides on the Grand Canal!
Places to eat & drink in Paris

Le Petit Lutetia: A charming, family-friendly café with a cozy atmosphere and a menu that’ll please both kids and adults. Enjoy classic French dishes in this relaxed spot, where the inviting vibe makes it feel like home.
Meunier: This cozy boulangerie is a must-visit for pastry lovers! My personal favorite is the bicolor pain au chocolat — a delicious combo of hazelnut praline and chocolate wrapped in a two-toned pastry. Perfect for a sweet treat to start your day or enjoy on the go!
Le Café Marly: Dine in style with views of the Louvre’s iconic pyramid. This chic café is perfect for a family meal with a side of elegance and a great Parisian atmosphere.
Dinand: A fun, quirky restaurant with toys covering the walls, making it a hit with kids! While the playful décor is sure to capture their attention, the delicious food is what really steals the show.
L’As du Fallafel: Prepare for a delicious (and likely long!) wait in line for these famous falafel sandwiches. Worth every minute, though — it’s a crispy, tasty treat you won’t want to miss!
Les 400 Coups: A restaurant where kids rule! With play areas and a kid-friendly menu, it’s perfect for families who want a stress-free and fun dining experience.
Angelina: Famous for its decadent hot chocolate that’s practically a Parisian rite of passage! Pair it with a buttery pastry and enjoy a cozy break in this beautiful tea room.
Berthillon: A must-visit for ice cream lovers! Their artisanal ice creams are a treat for all ages, with flavors so good they’ll make you want a second scoop.
Rebellato: A family-friendly Italian restaurant in the 16th with cozy vibes and delicious pastas. Perfect for those craving authentic Italian flavors in the heart of Paris.
Le Coq: A laid-back spot in Trocadero where everyone in the family can find something to love!
Need to know
Keep cash on hand: While credit cards are widely accepted, it's always handy to have some euros on hand for smaller purchases or places that might not take cards, like markets, bakeries or some local cafés. Some places also don’t accept American Express.
Tipping culture: Tipping isn’t like it is in the States. A couple extra Euros will do the trick!
