Curator’s statement
The first time I set foot in Paris, I was simply in awe. Something about the city's timeless charm, from its elegant architecture to its romantic ambiance, captivated my soul. Those three days were a dream come true, leaving me wanting to return for a more extended stay on my next visit. They say that Paris is always a good idea, no matter the time of year, and I couldn't agree more. Whenever the opportunity arises, get that ticket, pack your bags and hop on that plane. However, on my next visit, my heart set on experiencing Paris in March, particularly in late March, and here's why. It's a time when the city is awakening from its winter slumber and promising warmer days ahead. Paris in March offers a delightful balance of temperatures: mornings and evenings provide a refreshing coolness, while the daytime sun brings warmth. This is the perfect time for travelers who prefer to explore without the scorching summer heat and are looking to save on travel expenses. In addition, March is considered the low season in Paris, meaning you'll encounter fewer crowds at popular attractions and have more space to savor the city's treasures at your own pace. So, if you're considering a trip to Paris, why make it a March rendezvous?

The first time I set foot in Paris, I was swept away by its timeless allure. I visited some of the city's most iconic landmarks, including the magnificent Eiffel Tower, the Louvre Museum, the majestic Arc de Triomphe, and the Palace of Versailles. However, I missed out on ascending the Arc de Triomphe spiral staircase to witness the city's panoramic views that eluded me before. Additionally, I would have loved to visit the ethereal beauty of Sainte-Chapelle and spend more time exploring the grandeur of Versailles. Here is a list of first-time must-visits that I recommend:

Sainte-Chapelle: Prepare to be dazzled by the kaleidoscope of colors emanating from Sainte-Chapelle's stained-glass windows. This sight leaves an indelible impression on the soul, a testament to the beauty of human artistry and divine inspiration.

In addition to exploring the Louvre, I'm eager to delve deeper into Paris's vibrant cultural tapestry by venturing into these captivating museums. Each promises an immersive journey through art, fashion, and history, offering a glimpse into the city's rich artistic heritage. These are several museums I'm excited to visit on my next trip to Paris, where I can indulge my passion for creativity and discovery.
Musée d'Orsay: Step into a world of artistic brilliance at the Musée d'Orsay, housed within a breathtaking Beaux-Arts railway station. Here, you'll encounter a mesmerizing collection of Impressionist and Post-Impressionist masterpieces, including works by Monet, Van Gogh, and Renoir.
Palais Galliera (Musée de la Mode de la Ville de Paris): Dive into the fascinating history of fashion at the Palais Galliera, also known as the City of Paris Fashion Museum. Galerie Dior: Embark on a journey through Dior's iconic legacy at Galerie Dior, nestled within the legendary address of 30 Avenue Montaigne. Here, you'll be transported through over seventy years of fashion history as thematic rooms spanning two floors showcase the evolution of the renowned fashion house.
Parks and Gardens:
As mentioned earlier, if you find yourself in Paris in late March, you're in for a delightful treat as the city's parks and gardens begin to burst with the first signs of spring. I can't wait to stroll through one of these enchanting green spaces. It's the perfect opportunity to immerse myself in the beauty of nature and savor the rejuvenating energy of Spring.
Luxembourg Gardens: Lose yourself in the tranquility of Luxembourg Gardens, a verdant oasis nestled in the heart of Paris. Stroll along tree-lined pathways, admire colorful flowerbeds, and relax by the serene Medici Fountain, surrounded by statues and lush greenery.

Day Trips:
In March, Paris offers the perfect opportunity for a memorable day trip to Reims, the capital of France's Champagne region. Explore its historic cathedral, renowned for its stunning architecture and rich history. Delight your senses with champagne tastings at Veuve Clicquot, its visitor center and wine celler reopens for the season in mid-March. Experience the essence of Champagne in its birthplace and savor the finest bubbly while immersing yourself in the region's culture and heritage.
Places to eat & drink in Paris
I'm the type of person who enjoys indulging in a lavish dinner, particularly when it comes with a romantic ambiance or offers breathtaking views. That's why Gigi, nestled in the exclusive Golden Triangle with the Eiffel Tower in sight, is high on my wish list for my next visit to Paris. Gigi seamlessly brings a taste of Italy to the city, inviting you to savor authentic Italian flavors crafted from the finest ingredients. Set in an elegant space, Gigi offers views of the iconic Eiffel Tower, adding an extra magic touch to your dining experience.
